Late 30s, I consistently still attract some younger girls in their early 20s, but I typically don't go for them. They mostly wouldn't want anything beyond a one night stand, FWB situation, or sugar daddy situation, def not doing a sugar daddy thing lol.

Get your diet, sleep, and gym sessions sorted out. You'll want the increase in testosterone. It'll make you want to do stuff like this. Testosterone generally makes effort feel good. And you will be putting in effort in the pursuit of girls for sure, but it should feel good and you should enjoy the process.

Gotta preface this text below with this: This is my personal experience, it may not be the age range but the personality type in that age rage that follows what i wrote below..

TLDR: Be dominant and lead them, but be mostly fun, safe, non-threatening and again fun...

And have a bunch attracted to me but i no longer entertain that age range..

So you gotta lead, you gotta frame everything as fun, low risk etc.

EDIT: Those looks you get in the club, use them. Dance, have fun, approach slowly no pressure while dancing closer to them, get them to dance, copy their moves or whatever, and then go on from there.

I’m 27 and I don’t date anyone younger than 25. It’s a complete risk. Between 18-24 most women are in college and just graduated college, and they’re well aware of that fact too. That time period for women is spent enjoying their youth, because they still have time in their life to make mistakes and grow up. So the vast majority of the time they’re not looking for anything serious either because they know this or because they’re not mature enough to see what life is like ahead of them yet. A lot of these women aren’t relatable, relatable either.

Being that you’re 28, I’d say date anyone above 25. It’s a transitionary period for them, as a lot of women are either burnt out from enjoying their youth in the ways they used too, moving into their careers for the first time, and actually acquiring real life responsibilities. Not only scientifically their frontal lobe has developed, but that’s usually when they’re out of college and looking to settle down. They can no longer use the convenience of communal college living as a crutch anymore so they’re a whole lot more intentional with dating as it requires more effort, time and vetting(the same with men). You’re chances of looking for a women who wants the same thing as you is substantially higher.

For me there’s a transition that happens from 18-22 whre you are techically an adult but havent adulted enough to not be nairve with older people.

There will be a mental dynamic difference regardlss. An 18 year old hasnt seen the tricks youve seen, she might see you as this older mature person and it’s easy to want to take advantage of that. Even if you dont, other people will thinkt has wha your doing.

Plus other than age whats the difference between an 18 year old and a 17 year old? Not much.

Hell there are 18 years olds that look like they still need to be in middle school and there are 16 year olds that look like they should be in college partying. So for me if you would go for an 18 year old, you would also go for a 17 year old but wait it out so you could have that legal technicality.

As a 40 year old virgin, I'm pretty fucked. I tend to find girls from 25-30 most attractive, but there's a massive societal stigma of dating girls so young. At the same time, I don't really find women around 40 all that physically attractive anymore, generally. The few women who are still attractive are already in relationships. Add to that kids and my pool further narrows. I'm autistic, so maybe that makes me a shitty person and value looks too heavily.

I would submit that you're doing this backwards.

You seem to be trying to get into a relationship etc to be a more well rounded persin when you should perhaps start by prioritizing becoming a more well rounded persin and let girls flow from that.

Build a life that someone would want to be a part of.

Maybe that's exploring your town or getting into interesting hobbies, preferably with some sort of social component.

Let those spaces be where you develop basic social skills and competency.

They have unrealistic expectations and they believe they’re special and deserve everything and the best. A way to impress them is by having significantly above average looks, which I don’t have, or being wealthy, which I am. I'm 29 and this last year I dated 29, 28, 23, and 22. I actually ended up falling in love with a 35 year old friend of mine but the feelings weren't reciprocal. Considering your lack of relationship experience I'd actually recommend the younger ones. They're usually more open-minded and adventurous which I personally love. But at the same time I'd rather be in a relationship with someone my age or older because the conversation and relatability feels more grounding.

But 28 is probably the perfect age for dating. You're definitely still young enough where practically no woman in her 20s will think it's weird to date you. You also say you look young which helps.

Your best bet is 21 and up. Anything lower you come off as a creep. Shit even hitting on a 21 comes of creepish unless done the right way. You need to immerse yourself in social settings and work on solidifying your identity as an individual true to yourself. Depends. In my late teens, I was a lot like you. Then I became what was back-then called a pickup artist, only to “catch up” and realize it doesn’t matter and my value doesn’t depend on it. Late 20s is not "old" by a long shot.
In your late 20s, I wouldn't pursue anyone under 21. Ideally you probably want to go no younger than about 23 to make sure you find someone at least a few years out of school and has learned how to order a drink at the bar.

I think it's ok to date younger within reason. especially if you feel immature for your age, but don't use that as an excuse to stay immature. You should always strive to become a better and better version of yourself
