While there may be societal factors preventing women from reaching the top; there are also societal factors allowing men to fall through the bottom.

That's why we have so many homeless men, suicide, and workplace deaths.

#MenToo is another one.

But I think there are two reasons we don't fall back on memes:

A. Men generally don't like the "cheapness" of a meme.

B. The Media never repeats the man's point of view.

That's why you've heard "the glass ceiling" a million times, but you've never heard of "the glass floor".

The point of most of their buzzwords is to shut down conversation, or to be used as an ace to people who don't know the statistics behind the words.

They're generally used as a cheap crutch when facts and realities get in the way of their narratives.

Not really sure if there's a point to inventing or own without society as a whole becoming aware of the true statistics

A lot of the current-day "feminist" discussion will have terms and concepts that originated in Men's Rights show up. I have zero expectation of this being properly credited. Most likely, once MRA frsming has slowly and inexorably taken over the gender equality conversation, you'll have feminists saying "See, we told you Feminism helps men!"

Credible, respected institutions such as “The Economist” have repeatedly debunked the wage gap myth and this argument is now routinely presented
The leading #metoo agitator (Asia Argento) groomed a boy from the age of 7, raped him, denied it, and was allowed to make a financial settlement in lieu of criminal penalty - fatally undermining the myth
The Mansplaining myth is routinely dismissed as an infantile portmanteau
The Manspreading myth is routinely countered with images of women spreading, dumping their bags, etc.

Also - they are 7% of the world. 93% reject it. Ordinary, decent women and men are the world. We don’t require gimmicks and dishonesty - civil discourse is far more persuasive.

That's a major difference between men and women. Women like to complain enough until something gets done, while men generally will do it themselves. We don't rely on buzzwords or protests because we would rather actually do something useful and not rely on the work of others.

Let us think about why this is.

I, for one, struggle to even come up with suggestions that capture what we are about without at the same time running the risk of appearing divisive or even misogynist (appearing, not being).

How, for instance, can you react to the celebrity who delivered an impassioned message about how women and girls suffer most from violence, poverty, and the education gap? All claims were patently false as stated, but how can we respond to that in an effective way? Try to be factual and dispute the claims, and you are trivialising some of the most urgent human concerns. Try to point to how men suffer from the same phenomena, and you are petty and engaging in (undeserved) victimhood. Try to ridicule her, and you are.... well not sure.... how about a privileged (white, straight, old) man using ridicule to cope with the annoying threat of a woman who not only dares to speak out, but even to disagree with you. Try to redirect the conversation towards other, different but comparable male concerns - and, as you know, you are using your power to divert the conversation away from the real victims.

Of course, this is not fair. At the same time, these are the parameters within which we have to work and apply to society at large, not only to a small group of engaged and radical feminists. I have met many conservative men who relish in ridiculing the left, but who nonetheless blanche at the mere suggestions that abused men is a phenomenon at all, let alone one that merits societal attention.

There's a cool video of an Aussie politician fighting back against this bigotry from a female politician. You should be able to find it on Youtube. I don't know who the dude is, but he's my hero. He totally showed great backbone by standing up to her.

I don't like buzzwords personally. Its like when everyone started saying they're 'triggered'. It loses all meaning the more you use it.

So keep them as serious terms, for the most part.

Pussypass is a weird thing, since it is shorthand for 'let off because vagina'. The equivalent is 'male privilege', but doesn't ring nearly as true because there are few to no examples where men get away with stuff specifically because they are a man. Usually its because they are rich and/or famous.
