Meh. I'm not even redpill and I think it's a pretty dumb law. For most of those things, how are you even going to prove they happened, especially if you can report up to two years later?

As a male, I see this list of "examples" as extremely loose and able to be applied to all parental relationships, and most healthy relationships. Here are a few examples of my own....as a male.

Isolating a person from their friends and family - My wife never lets me go to Vegas with my friends or brother for fear I'm going to cheat on her.
Controlling what they do, where they go, who they can see, what they wear and when they sleep - Again, if you're married, there is a good chance that you have to let your SO know where you're going, what you're doing, who you're seeing, and yes....If I walk out of the house in a Tux or a banana hammock, my wife is going to get a bit suspicious and probably start a fight of some sort. Of course, once this fight starts, It'll be up to her when I can finally go to sleep.
Repeatedly putting them down, such as telling them they are worthless - I guess I'm alone in being constantly called an "asshole" in every argument we get into, that "man up" and "be a real man" are all things I've heard from just about every failed relationship I've been in, yet if I tell a woman to "be a good mother", I'm a sexist pig who's just trying to shame a mother.
Enforcing rules and activity which humiliate, degrade or dehumanise the victim - Rules like what? Making sure I get to hold the bags like a statuesque dolt while you're in Charming Charlies?
Financial abuse - I have no clue what this is about. This is the stupidest one yet. Is this like getting called a "irresponsible parent" when I come home with something for me? Or is this when she prevents me from spending money?
Threats to reveal or publish private information - Like when after a break up you see her and her friends at a mutual party and you see the pinky fingers wiggling? Yeah, about that.

What's even worse is if finances are melded - wife says "Buy me shit". Hubby - "No - we can't - we still have the mortgage to pay".

Wife calls the police - "He's scaring me - financial control".

Oh - I know the INTENTION is apparently to protect against the controlling abusive hubby...

They already have legislated out the bad effects of chasing bad boys. Bad boys do not provide resources, so now they have child support and assistance programs to get the resources.

I can understand wanting to discourage emotional and verbal abuse, but I don't know if a law is the best way to do it. Plus sadly this law will probably be taken over by white knights who only take it seriously when men do it to women (ignoring homosexual abuse, and ignoring female on male abuse like white knights always do). Plus I'm sure it'll be easy to make false accusations, which is not needed. Men are already afraid of false accusations from vengeful women.

Things like this really do annoy me. Why can't people just handle their own problems? Someone is being psychologically abusive? Walk out the door. Break their heart and let them realise what they lost. Stop asking Big Brother to make your life all cushy and comfortable because you can't handle your own freaking business... eventually we're going to end up prisoners in some creepy sci-fi Orwellian system wondering what it was ever like to have any freedom at all.

I genuinely fear for future generations. It's really going to reach a stage where we will literally have CCTV and microphones constantly monitoring our homes, connected to the internet, ready to set an alarm off somewhere if you fart in the wrong direction.

No, it has nothing to do with your skewed view of things. It has to do with holding accountable abusive people. Since oftentimes a harmless outside can hide an abusive core.

Women don't pass these laws, women and feminism are two separate things. Women will admit to what they want and will actually respect a man for telling the truth.

This isn't how most of these relationships go. He usually starts out as a nice albeit cocky guy and eventually becomes an asshole over time once he feels he has finished his "conquest" of her. Basically, the psychological abuser tries to take as much power as he can in the relationship. Women can be psychological abusers too, of course, although I'm not sure how often that will be prosecuted with this new law.

Somehow he managed to twist a law designed to protect women from physically abusive men into a rant about how stupid women are for not wanting to fuck unattractive men. That's some impressive mental gymnastics. That hamster wheel must be about to wear out from the overuse.

I think it's obvious that the basis of welfare for single mothers is the idea that single motherhood just somehow mysteriously happened to them. I don't think it's a conscious attempt to make bad-boy chasing safe. I think that propaganda has us all seeing women as victims.

If the law only focused on the social and financial trapping of someone, i would be supportive of it. Having no access to money, family and or friends is serious to me, and anyone who did that should be prosecuted.

The rest of the definition of domestic abuse should be something an adult can walk away from. Well, unless they are physically handicapped.

This is a good law. It handles behavior that should be criminal, but isn't.

It's put into a bad system, which routinely discriminates based on the gender of the alleged perpetrator and victim.

Keep calling out the legal system on its dysfunction, the first step to fight a bias is to be aware of it, and be aware of why it's bad.

lel, the men who are ''dropping out'' of the dating market are not being pushed away from the dating market. Their below average looks is what is keeping them away from getting women, and considering that I see plenty of below average guys with girlfriends I'm just going to go ahead and assume the guys who are giving up on women don't have much going for them in any way or shape.

The vast majority of human beings have hook-ups, relationships, get married and have children. Every time a red piller says ''enjoy the decline'' I just laugh because everyone seems to be doing just fine, its just that guy and his red pill brethen who are having a hard time.

Men aren ot being pushed away by being nice. I know guys who are very soft-spoken and nice and they have women. Its really about personality or looks, or accomplishments. The men who are locked away from the dating world don't have anything good about them.
