I think most people who are into this kind of stuff seek approval and validation and there's a fair share of men and women who also get turned on by exposing themselves and letting others see their sex. It's a consensual exhibitionism in a way.

Even the ones who do it for money most likely have started it initially for validation/kink fulfilment. I believe people who do sex work have to be okay with the idea of commodifying their body in the first place.

I think more than half have high chances to regret it in the future especially young people who don't hide their faces.

It's hard to give any numbers, as all these groups aren't exclusive and few people will admit that they regret doing it or that they do it due to their self-esteem issues.

I think most of the verified women who post there for no material reward are just porn addicts. Maybe not literally -- but looking through the posts now, I can clearly recognize that the way sexuality is expressed is very much porn inspired. I think most people would agree that such expressions of sexuality and the language have little to do with genuine sexual experiences and how we perceive and remember them.

As someone who has posted 'amateur porn' initially for free and now as a living I think I can shed some light on this! (in my personal experience ofc)

As to why women especially partake, I think it’s because it’s easy and (physically) safe to do so on the internet vs something similar in the real world.

I have never ever ever understood why anyone would do this. I have a decent body and it has just never occurred to me actually do this. To each their own but it’s super trashy and risky IMO. Um….. 😬 I think it’s a variety of things. The first thing I think of is it’s a fetish.
