Well, to everyone who thinks ''This sub has nothing to fear because there is no hate here'' or ''this is the good male advocacy sub unlike others that deserve the hate they get.'' Do you think it matters to them? It doesn't matter how balanced and fair you are. (don't get me wrong I'm not telling you not to be) Remember how people here found out that u/BlueOrange22 's account was suspended and they were surprised to find nothing hateful or even slightly offensive when they went through his comments and posts? I was not surprised because challenging their twisted world view alone is enough for them to hate you and call you misogynists.

Shows research stating that "Females like males who are violent and that males with criminal record have higher number of partners".

This is why you don't have a girlfriend because you used the highly derogatory word to describe women that is 'female'.

Meanwhile she ignores the use of the word 'male' in the research and literally ignores the elephant in the room which is that men with criminal records do indeed have higher number of partners.

You can't win with these people man. You just can't.

Just block. I'm a part of the sub because my dad committed suicide, among many other reasons, and I'm way beyond explaining that to anyone who straight up attacks me for just being a part of the community.

Like other commenters said, in many ways you just can't win, you will not be listened to or trusted. It's sad, but it's the way things are.

This is why I use a separate account to post here and other subs. I feel cowardly for this at times, but I post in a lot of LGBT-centered subs on my main account and I know how they are... If they find out I'm a regular poster here I'll never see the end of it and I'll get bullied out of those subs.

I hate how militant queer spaces have become. I hate that queer people are all about preaching about self-expression and being yourself, but disagree with them on political and spiritual matters, and they'll ostracize you and talk shit about you just like small town conservative bigots.

The moment someone goes through my post history and uses something I said or did in a completely separate sub as an attack or example of whatever asinine point they are trying to male I know I won the debate and leave it at that. If they genuinely have not other recourse than to attack something from an unrelated conversation that they've rent a part of then there's nothing I can do.

Honestly, there's nothing to do that you are not already doing. Close-minded people cannot be engaged with.

We should focus on the open-minded people. Discuss with them frankly but with empathy. Use only moderate tones. Show them that we are not a bunch of angry incels. Reasonable people exist on both sides (but really, there should be NO sides in these discussions).

Those people are not talking to you because they want a productive discussion, they are trying to "win" a debate with you.

Unfortunately "winning" a debate on social media largely comes down to who can pandering to the mainstream views of the online community better.

I had someone try to shame me for posting on this subreddit. This is how I responded: ‘I do support LeftWingMaleAdvocates. There are issues that predominantly effect men, and these should be addressed. And amongst left spaces, almost zero discussion is allowed of this, it’s practically a taboo. So where else can people go to discuss such things? None of this negates issues women face, it’s not a zero sum game.’

It won't help reporting them for hate, men are not considered a group that can be harmed like that, you'll notice there are no hate crimes related to being a man. You could work on your exposition, pointing out obvious biases against men with that being the starting reason to be a member of this community.
Alternatively you could always ask them why they consider men not worth having representation?
If you're feeling antsy you could add in that feminism promised to support men, but because they lied about that we need to do it ourselves.
Or, just be proud of this community, someone says "eww, youre a male advocate" "damn right I am, what with men's suicide rates being so high and education rates being so poor," etc.

What they want is for you to be shamed for standing up for yourself and other men. If you accept that from them... well just don't accept that from them.

It's super easy to create multiple accounts on Reddit. Use a separate one for discussing men's issues. Problem solved.
