It's strange because not only do they often hate men, they hate the women who don't. The rabid attacks I've been the target of for coming to the defense of men, advocating for them, and working in men's mental health are insane. Many times my input will reflect just how harmful the feminist or boss base narrative has been to male clients (while maintaining privacy). I'm not presenting as "anti-woman" just clearly advocating for men. I get called a "pick me girl," (newsflash I'm 42) or "I hOpE hE sEeS tHiS" as though the only motivation I would have to be a good person is to be picked? No. I'm just tired of seeing men be society's punching bags and or scape goats. On the flip side, being unseen or disregarded when it comes to their mental health and how damaging some women can be without realizing it is important to being to light. If you looked at a Lakers subreddit you’d see some of them hating on the Celtics. If you look on a Stanford subreddit you’ll see them hating on Harvard. If you look on the page of any department store, they’ll all shit on Walmart.
