Okay, so obviously not everyone would cooperate with this in good faith (some would lie)-- but when people post CMV and other opinionated or editorialized posts-- is there any chance that requiring the OP add their age and gender at the top of the post (ex me 36M) is something the mods would consider? Either retroactively remove posts that are reported for this (less work), or set those posts to require approval (probably more work, ew). Unless you guys have someone that can automate the process with a bot or something.

This is not agist-- but when someone does some long, editorialized writeup that makes sweeping assertions about sex, dating, culture, and of course women (much more frequent than men for some reason, hmm)-- I think it's relevant to have some background on the poster. Age and sex are extremely relevant. I think sex is self-explanatory but the age aspect makes sense to be included because you can extrapolate the level of a person's experience. Like, if I see the posts making assertions about women's dating behaviors made by a 36M and by a 15M (if I were someone that needed to come here to learn) I would at least know better that the 36M poster probably has some experience while the 15M poster has to go to bed in a little while. No offense kids, we were all kids once. But if you're in high school preaching red pill ideology-- one must ask the question-- how the fuck would you know?

Lol, anyway, this is just a suggestion. I feel like there are a lot of posts that go up and the situations they describe read like bad porn scripts (oh wait, they're all bad) and it really begs the question how many of these scenarios are even real at all or just some hypothetical a kid made up. Like seriously-- so many posts chalk full of details that are off-- exactly like when you read a novel by someone that never experienced what they're writing about (and clearly still needed to do better research lol).

Should mention something that was mentioned in the comments and I forgot to include this-- but what about this sub just being 18+ as well? A highschooler doesn't have anything of value to offer to the discussion, and then of course there's the awkward possibility that you're debating sexual behavior with a kid. Of course, people would still lie... but some people could at least know they're not invited, lol.
