Q4ALL: What's your goal in exposing men/women?

I just find it all fascinating. I guess my only goal is to sometimes bring people back to reality. So much of the discussion on here comes from chronically online people who form opinions almost entirely from reading or watching things online.

I don't have any stake in men vs. women, I think we are way more alike than you'd think by reading here.

Not really exposing I (regretfully) came here by accident and stayed but definitely this sub makes me go through the reactions of “ah this guy is spot on that’s a fascinating concept” to “this sub is so autistic and neurotic how do these losers not understand this is common sense” to “that’s absolute nonsense” when they talk about attractive looking men.

I'm unsupervised at work and this is one of the more lively and entertaining subs.

Most people agree with me when I post in other subs. It's fun to argue with people that barely seem human in their perspectives and clear lack of social skills. I rarely meet people like this in real life so it's always fascinating to see what they genuinely think and feel about the world that they're desperately trying to make sense of.

I find it fascinating, and it's something I've spent a lot of time thinking about, especially after hearing my male friends' experiences, and noticing the difference between dating men and women myself in my own love life.

Well I remember when I first started I really was just yelling my frustrations into the void. But now time has past and I've evolved to the point where the SMV flipped and now I have the SMV advantage (at least with women my own age).

So now I really just try to warn women that they may not have a beta bucks willing to save them anymore. It's really sad to see women getting older and alone because they refused to see the writing on the wall.

I’m just bored and this sub is like a fascinating train wreck I can’t get away from. Fun to kill time, sometimes learn a few things and challenge myself on others, etc.

I have watched a few people I care about fall down the hole into dating despair and hatred. I watched them become more and more jaded and miserable until that was all that seemed to be left inside of them. If i can say something that can make one brother or loved one stop and think hey maybe the mindset behind some of this stuff isn't healthy then yay. Is it likely to happen, probably not, but oh well. Also debating can be a sort of fun time waster, better than watching an hour of tiktok and losing a million braincells.

In my opinion (being a man) I see lots of illogical and delusional especially young men that have no experience dating, and all experience talking about it. Dynamics has changed with the years but I think most importantly, men need to realize that people usually date and fuck within their own bracket of attractiveness. If you’re a 3, and you feel entitled to anything over that, you’re going to have way more of a challenging experience. Attractiveness is the true value, not money.

I literally don't care, I just like to point out how silly it is when people make blanket statements or sweeping generalization that will likely shot the speaker in the foot one day.

People being afraid of the others sex/struggling with relationships is their problem. I'm just here to state my take when I feel like it, because getting other perspectives, especially contradictory ones, is important so people don't fall into paranoiac echochambers.

I think it's rarely one motive. If a thread seems intriguing, I might start reading. Sometimes I might find some interesting responses, but not feel I have anything to add. Other times I do: "I agree with your point, and I've experienced something similar" or "I'm not sure that's as common as you think" or "That behavior could be explained by something else." They then might find what I say persuasive, or they may elaborate and persuade me. Or if neither of us changes our view, it may be useful to others who are reading.

So hopefully some of these debates are productive for some people, some of the time!

Raising awareness about "feminism". People need to learn that women can be just as abusive as men, it just takes a different form. And no one cares when women are the abusers. It's considered the man's fault. Which is another form of abuse.

And raising awareness about narcissism. People need to know what narcissism is and attachment styles like anxious attachment style and avoidant attachment style. It's not fair to people NOT to know about this. A lot of the problems people have with the opposite gender can actually be attributed to narcissism, that they had one bad experience with a narcissist and they came out really bitter/cynical towards the opposite gender.

Unjustly sabotage the opposite sex and gain the upperhand? Seems awfully machiavellian…I think even when individual people are lying its not because they’re usually some mustache twirling mastermind, they’re just selfishly motivated and short cited.

But anyway to answer your question. I think its incredibly important to contribute to a conversation where people are trying to figure out whats true so that we can have armor against all the lies, the untruths, and commonly held misunderstandings. When i was coming up there wasn’t, or at least I wasn’t really aware of this information.

Its always been my personal philosophy that the more honest you are with how you inform yourself, the more successful you will be with anything you undertake, the less surprises you will have and the less trauma you will encounter

I'm a grey areas person and I think that view is under represented in favor of dogmatism. Dogmatism is ok if it makes the person comfortable and is freely chosen. But I hate the "one true way" people who try to foist without question their tiny view of reality onto others. And sometimes I get my own viewpoint knocked around, which is fair in turn.

I'm not totally white knighting it. Arguing on the internet is nearly fruitless. That's why the flair is purple rather than red or blue.

I’m not here to expose anyone or anything. I’m here out of pure interest in how other people’s lived experiences can be so much different from my own, perhaps very sheltered female life. I also try to challenge things I hear on here that are blatantly wrong. I have zero ill will with men as a gender — I had a decent father, I have a great husband, and my brother-in-laws and friend’s SOs are some of my best friends. I also have good relationships with many of my own male friends and cousins. But it’s not like I haven’t had negative experiences. I was talking to my husband about gender issues the other day, and going through my own family history I’ve had the following experiences

-my male cousin murdered his wife. Like, my blood relative killed his own spouse.

-two uncles physically abused two aunts (aunts were my blood relatives), leading to divorce. Both men were chronic alcoholics and both men died of alcohol complications.

-my very religious female cousin was verbally abused to the point of severe depression by her very religious husband, who then divorced her and has been diagnosed with NPD. He has only supervised visitation because of his behavior.

-I myself was cheated on in college

-one couple in my family got separated after both spouses were cheating, but they reunited.

The instances of female behavior being more harmful or toxic are way fewer. My husband and I could only think of one. Maybe there’s an argument that women abusers are more insidious and we’re just not hearing about it, who knows. I just have a really hard time with the whole bias of “women are bad, men are angels who love unconditionally.” I think every human has the capacity for seriously evil shit and there aren’t many actual core truths about human nature to uncover.

Edited to add, all the couples in toxic relationships above were very tradcon. My family is EXTREMELY religious. There is certainly a correlation in my life of more progressive, non-religious couples having healthier, more balanced relationships.

Free entertainment mostly, but occasionally I wonder why some of the most apathetic and hateful people here get angry when someone treats them with apathy and hate in return.

I also found out I dislike Red Pill men for the same reason they dislike single mothers and high N women, without the jealousy that they had sex or more sex. I don't see the point in getting jealous about someone else's sexually activities.
