Reminder that the female fertility cliff is a MYTH. It’s based on an old and poorly done study in like 18th century France. Women see a gradual fertility decline, not a sudden drop. Men do seem to have more of a cliff around 35, especially if they don’t take care of themselves (poor diet, drug use, certain environmental factors like living around pollution).

I have a friend similar to this, though thankfully she hasn’t yet married the decade older than her loser boyfriend. She’s got enough money to never have to work, more wealthy even than the woman in this post, and is now paying her leech boyfriend a salary to help with her hobby. Her family openly hate him and that has given her an “us against the world” mentality making his hold over her stronger. I’ve stayed quiet on criticising him (because I know this could lead to her pushing me away and becoming more isolated, learnt from my own experiences), only questioned some of the things he has suggested she do, which all of course benefit him and put her future security at risk. It is tragic that even women who have the means to avoid these awful men somehow still end up brought down and shackled to them.
