Suprise this is not a “question for men” thread?

I’ve seen a lot of posts of FDS saying men should be shamed more for their appearance. A lot of posters seem to think that it's mainly women who are judged for their looks but now that the tides are turning and women are more equal and doesn't need resource from men anymore, they can be picky however they like

They also say that they get frustrated every time they here the sentence “looks don't matter in men” which they claim come from men themselves, and it frustrates them because it doesn't allow them to have preferences (although I highly highly disagree that it's men who say this. Most if not all of the time, this will be said by women to gaslight men)

So do you think this should stop? Should society now realize that women can have physical preference and are allowed to want what they want, and in turn, realize that men can be judged for their physical appearance equally as much if not more than women? I think women already do this but people seem to try to gaslight men that that doesn’t happen. As a man I’ve heard bunch of people try to convince me that women care about being funny and being social is what gets women and not being physically attractive, while those two factors are also important, I gotta be a grade a idiot if I believed that
