Well, we all know she shouldn't tolerate this and what the correct course of action would be here. But at the very least, I hope the next time he asks her for sex she says no and tells him "she's on her break," since he seems to think that basic needs (like sleep) fit under that category.

For almost 4 months after my daughter was born this was my life, the only break I got was showers and a 1h30m language classe once a week.

Is this a r/ breakingmoms sub horror story OP? Classic “man rant” flair material here. I often go to that sub to remind myself how much better it is to be single than be with a LVM/NVM man who makes you miserable. We women really need to get better at not having kids with loser men. Why are we preserving their genetic inheritance at a cost to our physical health and sanity? If we keep letting LVM reproduce then future generations of women and girls are going to keep having to deal with them.

This is heartbreaking to me, because my husband is a great dad and partner. If I had settled for some of the men I dated earlier in life, my kids would have been at such a disadvantage :( Me too, obviously, but I am just saying, the kids would be deprived of the time and attention of a good father.

OP’s partner is putting all of them at a disadvantage, not just her.

Look my friend is married to a fairly traditional old world kinda guy, and even he has no problem taking care of his own damn children so my friend can have me time. That is because my friend was like no way, and didn't budge on her expectations, and so it worked out. BUT it only worked out because 1) she made the decision, especially w/ her second baby, to intentionally plan me time, and didn't fold on that decision 2) her husband is a good man who respects and loves her, and not a fucking scrote.

My point is:

1) If you don't demand these things, you will not get them. Even if men are really good, they are not women. Therefore I see that they aren't like "what can I help you with?" 100% of the time like women are

2) If your man doesn't respect you, you won't get these things no matter how much you demand them.

So if both of the above criteria are not met, you'll be burnt out and venting about it on reddit instead of having a better life 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wtf did I just read? You can take a shower for some alone time meanwhile this POS demands unlimited time in the shower, refuses to run errands or help with the kids and demands unlimited "game" time. The rubbish some women settle for boggles my mind. Why bother? She was a single mother and is still a single mother but is now burdened by a "fiancé" that "needs breaks" that she has to coddle and whom refuses to give her "breaks". My dad used to take my brother and I out to grocery shop every weekend, as long as I could remember. When we were older he would also take us to lunch. At some point I realized these trips took no less than 4 hours every week- and later my dad confirmed it was all to give my mother an extended break from us kids. My dad is 100% HVM.
