A key difference is that if men posted such comments to social media they would be prosecuted and incarcerated as a clear and present danger to women around them, so any men who do hold such views will keep quiet or have already been visited by the police.

There is a HUGE difference between MRAs and feminists. Feminists are not WRAs. They are an ideological group with various beliefs based on what is essentially social Marxist nonsense and men are the oppressor group. It's murder fantasies. 99.9% of feminists are too scared, too weak, too comfortable, too cowardly to make it a reality. That's maybe why they prefer "social assassination", where they can potentially badly hurt and eventually eliminate their target, without the severe repercussions a real murder would for sure entail. I guess, answering your question can be avoided by using "not all feminists" type of reply, but if "not all man" doesn't hold up for them, why "not all feminists" would hold up for us.

Humans tend to oversimplify their problems when they can't find a solution. This is especially true as the problems get more complex.

You'll often hear this when discussing international politics. "Oh yeah, we should just nuke X country." As if there would be no political fallout on the world stage.

It's the same idea. They see men as the cause of their problems. They don't see obvious solutions yet still feel powerless. So they slip to the most obvious thing in their minds - get rid of men entirely. As if there would be zero problems in an all female society.

Because we're not even remotely close to being the women-hating extremists feminists make us out to be. Even the word "incel" being used as a slur demonstrates that there is this agenda of radicalizing the idea of sexless men, despite the undeniable reality that men face entirely different challenges when it comes to sex and dating.

The fact that the term is some times even thrown around as a "radical movement", when there's realistically been just as many, if not more, men and women who aren't sexless that ended up killing people for political reasons, or who cheer for the killing of people for political reasons, also demonstrates this.

Feminism is a far more hateful movement towards men than the MRM has ever been towards women. In many ways, the regular status quo is far more hateful towards men than the MRM has ever been towards women. I want to interject here in defense of “feminists.” I am a long-time men’s rights advocate. So much so, I was run out of a graduate program over my support of the findings in the “Myth of Male Power” book.

Saying “Feminist” is like saying “Christian” in that it encompasses a whole lot of stuff and movements, some good and some bad.

I will advocate that I am a feminist as well as a masculinist and put it all under my “humanist” label.

Don’t become the cunts you hate. Or as Nietzsche said “be careful fighting monsters lest you become one yourself.”

I think that feminism is an inclusionary grouping and incels are an exclusionary one. They are grouped as that more from checking out of society than for forming a coherent group inside of it.

I've heard of "feminists" using hate language or calling for killing men and seen stories of crazy women that were self proclaimed feminists abusing and even killing their children.... But I think that is more representative of crazy 'people' than the doctrine or a group of feminism.

That said--there have been a few VERY public and serious mass shootings, serial killers, and manifestos about them written by actual incels. We just point at how crazy they must be to check out of society or be so skewed in their view of life and women that it doesn't usually represent MRA as a whole.

In both echochambers you will find immeasurable hatred for ending the life of the other sex based on diametrically opposed reasons:

On the one hand we have the echochamber incel in Discord forums and communities jealously guarded by "inceldom champs" who use hatred of women for its intrinsic nature and fantasize about "taking revenge" precisely on their object of hatred: an object of hate that is characterized in this way because they cannot access any woman.

Probs bc men already kill women at such a high rate already that there's no need to advocate for it- they just do it. Realistically, 99% of feminists (or arguably all feminists) just say that as a retaliation against femicide, they're never going to actually kill men- nor do they actually want to. On the other hand, how many murderous attacks have been committed against women/the general public by self-proclaimed MRAs/incels? Off the top of my head I can think of the massage parlour machete attack in Toronto, mall shooting in Glendale, Arizona, stabbing attack in Ontario, not to mention the 2018 cargo van attack that killed 10 people (both male and female) but which was targeted against women in particular. You cry about women saying the words "kill all men" on the internet, words said in retaliation to the countless actual real-life, not just words, murders and abuse perpetrated by men against women (and words that they don't actually mean), ignoring how men don't need to say "the equivalent" because they hate women so much that they just do it.

I feel like there's a total disconnect here between all of the titles, acronyms and the bottom line of "killing" anyone.

There are multiple types of feminism as defined over the course of the last century especially, but regardless of their alternating approaches, viewpoints, basis or arguments - none of them will ever hold a justification for mindset or opinion that harm or killing of men or those who support men's rights. Doesn't matter who or what they are, from what group or category, that's never OK.

Same with any men's group over any time period or perspective - that kind of extremism is not representative of any actual message base - it's not a brand. That's a twisted thought in the mind of a person at a point in time, same as it was in the mind of a woman at a point in time. It has nothing to do with a group they're saying they are a part of, or any movement they claim to belong to, or any belief system they claim to endorse - those are all lies.

That kind of "killing" mentality in a single person is their responsibility alone. That's not on feminism, MRA's, WRA's, or whatever. Every human is capable of that darkness - it's just human nature. But to aim it towards all men, all woman? No, that's an individual's choice and people need to take responsibility for having those feelings on an individual basis - stop hiding behind a slogan, a group or a label.
