I've been in LTR's since I was 17 but never really had any game. Few one night stands here and there. I found a book called The Tao of Badass a couple years ago which got me started on game. Then I found this sub about a year ago and it all finally clicked when I saw my friend (a natural) pull a girl from the dancefloor. 27 for me. 26 was the driest year... Its sort of a weird age between college mentality and young adult mentality.

The one thing I can say is that mental health issues seems way more common these days then 8 years ago for people my age. Part of that is due to the the times, part I'm sure to aging.

Im 19 and at risk of jinxing myself i feel like im on the cusp of finally hitting my stride. For some context i spent my entire life being overweight and not taking care of myself up until senior year of high school, where I got insanely skinny. For the past year ive been bulking up and i think I’m at a pretty good place physically and attractively. Obviously I basically had no experience with girls for most of my life up until that point. Once I got skinny I knew i was a decently attractive guy and had some action here and there, lost my virginity, but for the most part I was focusing on having fun with my friends and getting into college. Once college rolled around I was super disappointed because i still got the same levels of action as I did in high school. Im a couple weeks into second semester right now and I still dont constantly have sex like most college guys but I definitely notice decent amounts of attention and interest from girls, I just really suck at taking the initiative and sealing the deal.

Once puberty was over and it left me tall. At around 20-22 which is when I also accepted my awkwardness and introversion. Instant confidence boost in accepting yourself.

I have women making the first move especially strangers in public places (like Barnes&Nobles or when I’m walking my dog) Something which I thought would be impossible as a 15 y/o.

Like everyone else is always suggesting, care for yourself and work for yourself and for others but not only for others.

But more than that, take care of your mind and your mind takes care of the rest.

Contentment comes within yourself, you can't find it anywhere outside so acknowledge difficult emotions and sit with it, don't chase after it and don't resist them and most importantly recognize when you're fueling those emotions with thoughts or an inner chatter or in any other way. We all have those habits, and that's important to know. It's just a strong habit that we are able to let go, even if it takes time and just a little bit of effort. But it's important to understand them and accept them before letting them go.

Just let everything be and don't force change in difficult moments and let your mind be free. Your job is to sit there and witness your mind and have a better perspective of it.

Will we sometimes forget the Idea and become distracted? Of course, we will. But as soon as we remember, here we are. Back on the side of the road again, just watching the traffic go by. Perfectly at ease in both body and mind.

Living in a storyline will not make you happy that's for sure. so give your mind some space to breathe

Of my perspective there's something that changed my live completely and that is meditating.

I know people who keep telling me how stupid that is, but on the other side, you'll recognize your better self after all those months of consistent training.

If you haven't tried meditating yet, I would recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

- I'm using headspace if you are curious and without any questions, every penny I invested in it was totally worth it.

I had a mini peak at 20/21. My year 22 was pretty disastrous for my improvement (massive weight gain, starting a corporate job I'm overqualified for and underpaid to do, getting in a relationship I was too naive to realize was healthy. Now midway through my 23rd year I'm starting to improve again. I think my real blooming will be 18 months down the like when the weight loss/muscle gain and other improvements I'm undergoing will be incredibly evident.
