When you got married were you low key thinking I’m on her team or she’s on my team? Just a thought experiment :) like yeah it’s a new team but who’s the owner? extrapolate it a bit. Some women give, put themselves last, realize there’s not much roi on that, then get kinda burned out.

There is parasitic, which only benefits one party, and you have symbiotic, characterized by symbiosis, which is the close association between two or more different organisms and beneficial to all parties. Parasitic, where one party benefits at the expense of the other, is the current state of the male-female relationship. Prior to feminism and the Family Court system, specifically no fault divorce, marriage relationships were symbiotic as both parties obtained what they wanted; for the women, this would be resources and safety for herself and her offspring. For the male, it was the offspring and companionship, sexual and otherwise. Today, the female serves as the parasite, draining the male of resources until another male host becomes available, i.e., monkey branching.

It has been my experience that very few women are capable of actually loving something other than themselves (frequently, this even includes their own children). Women that can actually love someone else are a treasure.

If you don't believe me, look at the amount of women who use their kid as props for social media likes/attention/validation, instead of protecting their privacy.

Boy there are a lot of unhappy, bitter men on this sub.

My wife divorced me as well, and I wasn’t treated fairly at all; she unsuccessfully tried to take away my kids, and did manage to walk away with $3 million, more than half my assets. But while I have my issues, at least it didn’t leave me hating all women.

You guys need help and therapy. If you continue essentializing the character of half the human race, I seriously doubt it will gain you anything but more grief and delusion. Pick yourself up, man up, and move on.

That is basic female nature. Most traditional cultures enforce discipline on girls by making them cook, clean and look after others. Sacrifice among women was celebrated earlier. Modern western culture has changed that and told girls to pursue money and happiness for themselves

What I can't get over is how they ruin the lives of their children over stuff like this. Knowing full well that divorce absolutely traumatized children, and alters their lives in such a terrible way. No other female species on Earth actively ruins their lineage and family structure over petty emotions. Something is just not right.

I think this can go for either sex. There are absolutely both men and women you love transactionally. However, it certainly feels like it skews towards women. I have known many men and women who have divorced, I have worked in multiple occupations that have high divorce rates.
It definitely feels like most divorced men I know were faced with a partner who left/cheated/etc for what seem like minor issues that easily could have been fixed. The husband felt distant, he was to into his hobbies, his work, or even he didn’t make enough money, they didn’t travel, or she got bored, etc. on the same page I see far more men justifying staying in terrible marriages with abusers, cheaters, alcoholics, and deadbeat mothers.
Again I say it feels like this, because it’s anecdotal, but most marriages I know that failed were initiated by the wives. Most of those were for what seem like trivial reasons.

To be fair, we are here on a sub full of divorced men - probably most of us (me included) were majorly fucked over by this type of selfish, transactionally loving woman. I am not certain that all women are like this. But the type certainly exists. In my opionion created by the times - postfeminism, "you go girl", etc.

Yeah, women are impossibly insecure while simultaneously being enormous narcissists. Their entire value system is 'what can you do for me?'

As soon as they find somebody more 'exciting', more ego/status boosting or can provide them with more material luxiluries they're out the door. Hell, even if they just get 'bored' they're out the door.

Never think for even a split second that women care about anything other than themselves. They don't 'love' like you do. As long as you always approach them with that key knowledge in mind, they're surprisingly easy to handle and you won't get your life wrecked.

I've been long concinved that the outward signs a woman displays as affection or love is just a form of mimicry they use to keep you attached, while they look for a better or more exciting partner. That's how they turn it off at the flick of a switch and walk away. It was never there.
