This goes hand-in-hand with my theory that there’s guys who dont understand the difference between being vulnerable and being whiny, in a constant state of self pity, trauma dumping, and treating people like free therapists.

I think a factor to men allegedly seeing women “who hate vulnerability” is incompatibility; specifically the difference in mental/emotional elasticity.

If girlfriend and boyfriend struggle with the same shit, and she’s bouncing back quicker than him, she might get irked. And depending on the duration and the quantity of the wallowing, it can be relationship/friendship ending. In addition, if she has people, especially women, in her social circle that bounce back from even harder things, yes. She might look down on the boyfriend. This is also a reminder that empathy does not mean sympathy.

I think the stereotype of men being less emotional, less drama, and easier to deal with doesn’t really help. Because it gives the impression that you should have different expectations of men. That’s how you have women who think/say, “You a man arent you? Why you acting like a little bitch? I already have a pussy, I dont need another one.” As someone who has had plenty of male friends, males are just as much of a headache as females.
