What do RP think of attractive men with less attractive women?

Firstly, to each his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Secondly, what most view as “hot” women are a dime a dozen and usually not actually particularly beautiful, whereas women worth LTRing (aka women who are both substantive and capable of being in a loving relationship) are extremely rare.

After a minute the former become significantly less attractive than the latter, which brings us back to my first point.

Having been with a lot of women I never thought I’d even have a shot with in my youth, I can tell you that guys who have experience see the trade offs in life. Sex with a hot woman can only take you so far.

Men also have the luxury, to some degree, of finding most women attractive (who don’t pull the pin on the fat grenade) so enthusiasm, pleasant to be around, on his program are all factors that heavily outweigh a bad attitude in the long run.

By the time I was wrapping up my single, rotating girls phase I could see most of the hot women putting themselves in my orbit for what they were: landmines. They will fuck up your life. Great for short fun though.

As a caveat, there are 10s that can be amazing people. The problem is that social media typically destroys this possibility for them pretty early on.

The red pill separates SMV and RMV, and there is a reason there is emphasis on SMV. It’s the first hurdle for men to actually get a relationship, so understandably he’ll have to know how to attract women. That’s where looks, game, and status come in.

Why is that shallow? I mean, red pill doesn’t say those are the only things that matter. It doesn’t even say those things matter the most (in terms of relationship longevity and success). It says it matters, point blank, that’s it.

Personally I don’t have an opinion on conventionally attractive men with unattractive women. I mean that’s his own decision if he wanted to date someone unattractive, it has nothing to do with me.

She could have a personality that he really likes and they just so happen to also relate on some things which they happen to enjoy together well.

As a guy its also beneficial to date down as the woman would appreciate it in a way that wouldnt happen the other way around.

Usually when the woman is the more attractive one she will believe she is the prize and the man is lucky to be with her and she will be in control of the relationship.

Of course you can find model tier woman that wont but its alot harder to find ones that dont have that attitude then do.

People are all different. Nothing human is a monolith so you need to stop thinking in such rigid terms. General exist alongside outliers.

In terms of your question, it could come from a variety of reasons. Perhaps they met when young and he is invested in her and content. Perhaps he likes a less attractive women that is absolutely thrilled to be with him over a looks match. Perhaps she has a specific background that he requires.

I’ve personally dated some bigger women who weren’t as attractive as me and they were far better to me compared to the cute to hot women I’ve been with. They were beyond thrilled to be with me, pleasers, and I knew that I exceeded any man they would be with, so it was very relaxing. I didn’t have to think about dread games or work hard to keep them. I ended those relationships for other reasons (non sexual) but remember them fondly.

Some women are highly desirable to wife up, even if they are not going to win any beauty contests. It's about the overall attractiveness of the woman, which includes her mindset towards long-term relationships.

A man could find an "Instagram baddie" that is into him. However, she might not be someone worth committing to, especially if she's the type to expect certain behaviors out of men (e.g., pay for my babysitting fees).

The only times I have seen such pairings in real life are when they were more equally matched when they first met, and she then aged badly over the years.

Also some guys are outliers in their sexual preferences. The redpill talks about general trends and isn't applicable to every single situation.

Several reasons

He might be dumpster diving to have a more stable relationship, since she's going to appreciate him more for being out of her league

She might be Betabuxxing for him, for the same reason

He thinks that he might be able to get the benefits of a relationships, while being able to cheat on her, and she'll forgive him, or pretend she doesn't notice, for the same reason

All of those combined

So pretty much, guys do it for the same exact reasons women do it

Let’s say a couple where the man is well dressed, fit and chiseled with a much older and out of shape woman.

I would likely think they couldn't afford to date up because they either didn't have the money (or were after their partner's wealth) or lack charisma, personality and self-confidence.

As a man, your partner is always a measure of your social worth and youth/beauty are among the most valuable things a woman can bring to the table.

I've always refused to date older women and it's been 8~10 years my junior on average ever since I turned 30, no exceptions.

It goes without saying that women hate this take since it puts an expiration date on their assets; case in point, nothing makes my female friends and co-workers seethe more than me showing up with a hot girl 10~ years younger than me and I love every minute of it.

The question is confusing because what's an attractive man to begin with? I have a friend who I think is average as hell and his girlfriend is cute but then our friends say she is "not as attractive as he is" and I just don't see it. It turned into a big discussion among my friends. The women seem to think he looks better than her, but us guys believe she is cute and he's average as hell and not really that good looking.

I have never genuinely seen an "attractive guy" with a less attractive girl because every example I can think of the woman is always attractive in some way.

I think this is one of those questions where it's going to cause a lot of confusion simply because although we are looking at the same couple we are not seeing the same things. I cannot tell if a gut is hot or not in a woman's eyes. Women generally think I'm good looking but I don't fully understand why. Whenever I think another guy is way better looking and I ask a woman's opinion they tell me "eww hell no." So my perception for what constitutes "attractive" in a woman's eyes is not reliable.
