I used to read for rhetorical patterns in profiles. Anything that is inviting (rather than repellent or directive) and shares a person’s values and what they enjoy doing is providing good information for the sake of making choices in dating.

Something that makes you seem like a human being that actually wants to build a connection. Too many people try to be nonchalant in their profile.

And having either a pic of a hobby or mentioning one in your bio is good. An actual hobby, not doing vacation in Bali, eating food or borderline alcoholism. Something like vacation somewhere not a lot of people go to, cooking and not just eating at a restaurant and being a hobby somelier. Nothing wrong with being basic just try to wrap it up nicely.

Owning one's flavour of weird is also really good bc it filters better and I almost always swipe right when I see someone who seems to be a similiar kind of weird like I am.

Write w profile that have set ups for funny intros

Literally the only why woman on the apps even look at the bottom 95% is if the man sends a funny message

That's the only thing that work and because the man in the top 5% who are still on the apps are probably fuck boys this is guinuly the best start for woman

Personally in my profile I enjoy throwing misdirection, I am very irritated with the women who are looking to divide men into casual and serious types, so I have my profile set in a way to appeal to both.

I find it arrogant to expect men to declare themselves "casual" or "serious" on a dating app. Its not like you have those bifurcations in real life.

Some women are actually funny.
A recent picture in a cute summer dress, not professionally taken.
Picture playing team sports or post-game.
A picture of her actually engaging in her hobbies.
Recent picture with family, even better when several and extended family. You can tell person's values at a glance.
At least one or two pictures without makeup (yes, I can tell) or filters (I can also tell).
At least one picture that doesn't completely hide the body shape, for example a swimsuit picture, side profile.

No longer active. Just kidding. Whilst all strategies must be considered, some strategies are poorer than others. OLD I’d put in that basket, but most humans are too lazy to put in the work to actually go out and physically socialise in the real world. Almost all my relationships have begun through my networks, which I think is the most efficient vetting system. A pic and a page is far different than my cousin hooking me up with her old workmate.

Plenty of daters don't know what they want. They state on their bio that they're looking for a long-term relationship. Then, in the bottom section, they state that they're also open to casual relationships or hookups.

So, if a woman knows what she wants, then I'm also likely to swipe right.

They well lit full body pictures, have actual hobbies that force them to leave the house, no overt politics, no whining, no pictures with other men, no pronouns in bio and none of that friendship or taking it slow crap.

I'm looking for casual relationship, so my criteria is different. Those are my criteria for swiping right. Nice pictures where i can see face and somewhat body, if he has a bio about himself, pets (because i'm sucker for pets and i'm willing to go on a date because of a cat/dog and then we'll see). Genuinely if i see that a guy put some effort into profile, not ugly, gives relaxed vibes i'm down, everything else we can find out in person.
