Disabilities are disabilities. Autism is a spectrum, some are deeper than others, and not everyone can reach the point where they can properly approach strangers for dating purposes.

So the disabled man who's disability is his inability to socialise becuase of his neurology should conquer his disability becuase you don't want to feel bad for not accommodating him but you also don't want to do the work to actually accommodate him.

I literally just made a "Debate" thread where I said that people should be able to explain how to flirt if it's an actual skill. Predictably, no one actually explained how to flirt and just defaulted to "Sorry, can't explain, too complicated."

My general social life is fine and receive few complains about my general "social skills." I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do in the context of dating, where people keep insisting there are rules but refuse to explain them. It makes me suspect that there really are no dating-specific social skills and it's all just a post-hoc rationalization.

It quite literally is a perfectly valid excuse. Autism has a spectrum, what you see as an excuse is literally impossible to overcome by some. What you say by this is equal to telling a person in a wheelchair to stop whining for a ramp and just walk up the stairs like everyone else.

I have an autistic brother. Imo its a form of natural selection. Its why it's more likely when the dad is super old and reproduced late using money. Nature hates mistakes. It's also the reason why autistic girls are so uncommon and even then it barely mattersx
