Correct. Stating that women and men have the same or similar issues doesn't solve anything. When people tell their story of how they were victimized they are looking for 1. Validation 2. Comfort 3. Big solutions. Saying that someone should quit their job is offering a personal solution to a much bigger problem. Shit, I would kill to be a stay at home mom so that I could do 30 minutes to 2 hours of chores every day and be socially able to say I work just as hard as a construction worker. Seriously, being a stay at home mom is the most overblown job a person could ever have. How hard is it to wake up, throw a roast in a crock pot, wash dishes, vacuum, do laundry, and dust and grocery shop as needed? You could literally do all of that within 2 hours.
