I think you’re right. Most normal men are gong to look out for the behaviors that signal irresponsible risk taking or untreated mental health issues (Substance abuse is another one) rather than try to figure out what her number is to assess the risk. The reason spergy manosphere types chose the latter: one, they don’t have the social acumen or experience to discern when behaviors might signal a problem vs just a woman who likes have fun, and 2) it allows them to project their extreme insecurity over their own lack of sexual experience onto women.

No ones arguing that anyone should date outside their preferences. If (proverbial) you will only LTR a low n count woman, fine. Can’t even say I blame you. What I don’t understand is why (proverbial) you feel the need to get others approval of your choice.

I don't care that much about it myself. But I've found that I don't tend to get on that we'll with girls like that. I've had a few LTRs and some casual things, in the end someone with a similar experience works well for me as we are generally on the same page.

Girls with a lot of experience like that tend to be too much for me, very extroverted and in your face. You might even say too confident.

I can say in my case that I didn't have much guidance from my parents. I think my mother thought I was too young to be thinking about "those things," then when she found out I was already sexually active, she saw no sense in shutting the barn door after the horse was already out! So I was allowed to follow my own inclinations, as long as I kept in on the DL and didn't embarrass the family publicly (for instance, by getting knocked up).

I liked sex and saw no reason not to have it with boys/men I found attractive. It really wasn't any more complicated than that.

N-count doesn't go backwards once a woman, theoretically, grows into the kind of person who doesn't need that kind of validation. Saying 'high n-count indicates unresolved issues' is a poor generalization to make - a sweet grandmother who's at peace with her wild escapades in the 60s and has been with her husband ever since can have the same n-count as a 25 year old who hasn't had sex sober in years.

Neither is inherently a bad person, but both could have the same, say, count of 20, but be at very different life stages. It might mean something - it certainly does for this particular young woman, but maybe a different 25 year old was part of a questionable crowd in high school and has spent college/her last few years in the workforce making something of her life and trying to move on from the choices she made before, is in a monogamous relationship and plans to have children. Even between two 25 year olds, the same n-count means different things.

But I think the real indictment of this theory is the 25-60 year old with the same n-count comparison.

High quality men don't need to be warned as they've been exposed for long enough to this.
Low quality men also don't need to be warned because it's clearly fishy if women are suddenly interested.

The only ones "at risk" were average, blue pill men, coming into money as they reach their mid 30s and "suddenly" finding themselves getting more attention \ flirted with more often by women their own age.

That would presuppose that she has those issues "for life" because she has that N count for life. Would a woman in her mid twenties still have "unresolved issues" if she stopped increasing her N by 20 and did therapy or other things at that time, came to moment of realizations of her issues, and resolved them?

At best, id say high N (at least acquired in younger years or in a short time span) is potentially indicative of unresolved issues, but could also be a sign that the woman at one point in her past had unresolved issues which she has since resolved.

I was high N count (for my age) before I met my last ex. I never had the urge to cheat on him and we dated for 3 years before he turned out to be a bit crazy.

I enjoy sex, and if I can get good sex consistently from the same person, that is WAY preferable to riding the CC. Double bonus if we actually have an emotional connection.

I definitely know I've got my own issues (ie depression), but loyalty is very important to me. If I'm in a committed relationship, nothing but a break up is going to get me to stray. But usually I end up just putting myself through years of misery instead of just breaking up.

Probably, and most likely those issues will remain unresolved the rest of her life. Tbh lots of issues are probably unresolvable no matter how much therapy one goes through. Therefore, promiscuity paat or present is still a decent metric for weeding out partners, especially women for straight men. It’s far from perfect but oh well.

She loves to go to male-dominated parties and flirt with multiple guys and when the drunk guys start fighting over it's like she's having a mental orgasm. Idk what happened to this girl as a child but something is up with her.

Hmm. I will go ahead and say that people with higher N counts are naturally more likely to want sex partners outside of marriage in any gender. As someone who has a high N count because I am not monogamous, who seeks people who are likewise slutty and not monogamous, the people I date and myself are people who don't do so hot in monogamy and I think that enforcing monogamy as a default isn't healthy for anyone who isn't strictly monogamous. Should be an option.

I don't think not being monogamous has anything to do with having issues. Sex means more to some of us than others. Perhaps we get more out of it or engage with it better I don't know but like there is a difference between the kind of people who establish 24/7 bdsm dynamics and such, who turn their sex lives into a lifestyle, and the rest of the population who are not driven to do such things. I'd say the vast majority of girls with high N count have issues, not all but most. It's hilarious because of the number of women I talk to all want both a committed relationship as a goal at some point but this is thwarted by the short term needs to fuck. There's no restraint holding them back. Although they want sex they often use it as a tool to gain commitment and this usually fails. It's a part of choosing terrible men who at the time seem chadlike but are far from it. The combination is almost always played out in some form of drama or situation that is used to explain why they fuck the way they do, never realizing their decisions are what's causing the problem.
