I feel like I’ve been lied to- to wait until I’m financially stable to get married and have kids. That you’ll know when it’s right.

I see so many people at my age or slightly younger that have at least gotten married or have gone the baby route already and I feel like because it hasn’t happened for me yet that I’m not doing enough with my life.

My mom desperately wants grandkids. She has four kids, one that is married and zero grandkids. However, she wants it to be with the right person.

Does anyone else feel this insane pressure to have marriage, babies, secured finances, and blissful happiness happen in the window of your upper twenties?
