If a woman has her skills/talent/intellect/self esteem nurtured since childhood, loving + health relationships modeled by her caregivers, and an appropriate relationship with nutrition and exercise she'll have a good mindset to develop a good life for herself.

To feel generally happy with your accomplishments and content with your place in life. To love and be loved by others. To feel that you have worked hard and reaped the rewards of your efforts.

What that looks like is far too different from person to person to make generalized statements.

For some women that means having a big family, marrying young, lots of kids, being a SAHM, full nine yards. For some that means becoming the CEO of a company. For some that means perfecting their craft or hobby and becoming accomplished in it. For some that means partying until they're 30 and settling down. For some that means growing old alone, even.

I'm super fucking Type 3 on the enneagram so I'm pretty ambitious. I"m already living the life that I like and that I think it is good. Great job in lobbying, married to a good man, i have a dog, i'm skinny in my 30s.

i guess the only way to have a 'better' life would be doing all the same things, but i earn 10k more, i have two dogs, and i lost 15-20 lbs.

It will vary from person to person but generally I think a good life is:

you have a purpose in this world beyond just putting food on the table. Whatever that looks like. When my son was an infant, it was being at home with him. When he got older, it was doing a job I enjoy that helps others. You set your life up so that you’re doing something you like and instead of doing something you have to do.
you feel like you matter in this world. Again this will vary from person to person. Maybe it’s being someone in the world. Maybe it’s being the world to someone. Maybe its a happy marriage or maybe it the love and support of many family and friends, etc. (or both) I raise this because too many people think they have to check married with 2 kids box to be happy.
you feel comfortable in your own skin. Accepting and liking yourself and not needing others to validate you as a human being. Raise your daughter this way and I guarantee she won’t end up on the pole.

Personally for me its also having the resources to do the things I enjoy in my free time, like travel.

Living in a house I built, on my land far away in the countryside with a massive garden, everything will be self sufficient. If I’m lucky with a partner & children, if not with friends.

I think most women would probably find life centered around family and children to be more compatible with their natural inclinations but at the same time, I don't think that women should be pressured into it just because they have a womb. If a woman wants to be an ambitious child-free career woman and genuinely has the competitive drive to do that I fully support that too. Extremes like a SAHM and a full-on career woman are fine, but I think most women, in reality, end up somewhere on the spectrum, probably a lot closer to a family-oriented life, that incorporates a work-life balance.

Aside from that, a lot of the things that are important in order to have a good life aren't really just female exclusive things, stuff like having a healthy diet, getting enough exercise, enough sleep, having a healthy social life, learning new skills, and improving yourself, etc. are all very important for any person in order to live a good life.

Not looking for a man to "complete" them is also kind of important. ( this is not to say that a woman shouldn't ever choose a more submissive role in a relationship if she wants to, but still being aware that they are their own person that has a sense of "self" outside of the relationship is important ) I added this because it seems to happen a lot more often with women than men, either getting totally submerged within relationships or expecting a Hollywood-esque scenario where they meet a man who suddenly makes their lives wonderful and complete. Nobody "completes" anyone, people just choose partners they think are compatible enough, and obviously, they should love their husbands/boyfriends but having a clear sense of self and other things going on in their lives is really important, because no relationship is guaranteed to last. It's what all people hope for but If the same woman ends up single again, she will have heartbreak AND an identity crisis.

I feel like also most women would be a lot happier in a loving and secure relationship than a relationship based on material/sexual transactions regardless of the partner's wealth. In general, minimalism, love, and contentment instead of the pursuit of material things. Relationships require effort from both partners because real-life issues will always creep in, but the rewards of a healthy relationship will make you grow as a person and you will have love, the kind of love that isn't just a "butterflies in the stomach" feeling but love that is a choice. Learning how to give love and receive love and just be present with a partner, and genuinely understand them as a human being is priceless.

Also not caring as much about what society thinks. I think that women care more about this and I feel like it's probably a mixture of nature and nurture. I think females are generally taught to be conflict-averse and likable ( which definitely has a lot of merits) and also biologically women feel unsafe a lot more often than men so being liked by society == survival when we were living as hunter-gatherers. But it's really not so scary being disliked, most people have no idea what they're doing in their lives, and opinions and thoughts people hold in their heads are malleable, they forget most of them, and most are totally irrelevant.

So yeah it's okay to go against the grain at times, doesn't mean you will become this hardened warrior feminist, just an authentic human. If you are a woman reading this, contrary to how you were taught: it's okay to be a bitch sometimes to the people who deserve it because if you suppress all that resentment and anger you will be a bitch to people who don't deserve it. Don't be scared of expressing "bad" emotions (as long as it's constructive you don't abuse people obviously), they're a part of everyone and it doesn't mean you aren't "feminine" or "a nice person".

Idk, dunno if answers that question, this is heavily based on my life choices. It's very customizable, your results may vary.

It means to work on achieving her goals. To work on developing new skills. To be a successful person in the area of her choice, be it an artist, engineer, or mother. Or everything combined. Yes, a woman can have it all most of the time. She can be a mother and a successful businesswoman or an artist, I know many women like this.

It also means to be a good person. To help those around you and to have meaningful connections with other people.

But it's doesn't mean the trad-Wifes "living just for others, being a servant". I think that women should put themselves first and never expect their partners to fix her problem and make them happy.

Liking who you are and what you look like, having a roof over your head, having family or friends who you love and love you back, learning as much as you can about people and the world. Earning respect from your peers, whether it’s from your work colleagues, children, or friends. Falling in love and having someone fall in love with you is a cherry on top, but I’ve realized that it only happens to a privileged few.

i guess you could say a good life for a woman is for her to achieve whatever goals she has and to live whatever lifestyle she has always dreamed of living.
