This is a weird post, and honestly it's done a bit tongue in cheek. But legitimately, sometimes I get a bit anxious about the fact that my LTR is going so well. It feels like it's wrong. RP has taught me that shit will hit the fan eventually.

My girlfriend just never, ever, creates drama. She never complains about anything, she's never upset, or moody, or "too tired". We have argued once, and it wasn't rly an argument, I just scolded her over some dumb shit.

She casually gave me her phone password maybe a month after we met. Never changed it. I use her phone for a lot of stuff since mine is shit, she's got notifications on home screen and doesn't use snapchat. She has my face plastered on all her social media. She tells me how she loves me so much every day, compliments me. She proudly introduced me to all of her family, I'm talking 40 people. Her childhood friends. And always brings up, "I have X friend, she rly wants to meet you".

I try to fuck with her sometimes, use some very subtle dread. But she doesn't bite. That's the weird part, she's got a super solid frame, she trusts me so much I can't hurt her without going nuclear. She never shit tests. And when she gives me a comfort test, I can't do anything but give her the answer she needs, because she deserves it.

It's pretty cool, but RP doesn't actually address this situation so much. I know I'm supposed to keep doing whatever I'm doing, but according to RP, it'll go wrong at some point anyway.

To be fair my girl was like that at first. But I opened her to a lot of things, and she became much more interesting. She had no hobbies when I met her. Now she's rly into interior decoration and customisation, and photography. I introduced her to both, suggested we build her desk instead of buying it, and got her to buy a DSLR instead of a stupid compact camera. I would probably introduce her to more things if we lived together.

Yes I realize that. She wrote me letters as a side gift for my birthday, with different themes. In one of these she basically says she admires me for my intelligence, my confidence, my willpower. She sees me as some kind of failproof dude who gets everything right and who's capable of anything. Whatever comes up she always tells me that I'll be fine, if anyone can do it it's me.

It's set me to a high standard and I love it. It gives me that extra motivation when I feel like slipping, because I don't wanna fail that image she has of me. I know that as soon as I get too comfortable, I will tarnish that picture forever.

I consider following RP akin to wearing your seatbelt. I've been driving for a long time and have never been in an accident. Does that mean it'll never happen? Just because everything has been going well so far doesn't mean it can't change at a moment's notice. And it may be 100% due to factors that you have no control over.

So the question is, do you stop wearing your seatbelt because everything is fine? Or do you ingrain that behavior so deeply that you barely ever even have to think about it?

Maybe it'll take 5 years or 10 years or never, but either way, I'd rather make my own well being a priority.

I feel your pain man. In probably the most ironic and inadequate usage of the line, ever.

Dramatic and moody behaviors are characteristic of one major personality trait called neuroticism, and women score a lot higher than men in that one, although we all score on it unless we're psychos. In a couple months I came to believe that my girlfriend had men scores on that one, or maybe scored less than myself. And it freaked me out, naturally.

The first impressions I got from her were unsurprising for RPilled folks, although a good bit of them came from confirmation biases. She made some shit tests, required a strong frame, and had crazy levels of abundance. Point blank I assumed her low neuroticism was rooted on confidence provided by abundance, so I assumed I was dealing with a ticking bomb and decided to thread carefully, shield myself as I could.

After a while I realized that shielded behavior was putting a strain on me. It took me some time but I switched to "fuck it, I'm not stupid anymore and I can take whatever punch she throws". This mindset eased the relationship for me and I started to freak out less. At this point, funny enough, I could notice some shit about her. She's not lower in neuroticism than I am, nor lower then men in general. Instead, she tries to portray herself in the fashion she finds attractive in men, she remains shut about her weaknesses instead of using them to gather sympathy, she plays dread and tries to raise it when she believes I'm "out of the line". But her frame is weak, her insecurity shows and she reacts, MAINLY when her "dread" fails.
Basically, she's an intelligent woman trying to play the game she believes is the winning game, assuming that'll earn her the bigger prizes. And since she still believes men's game is the winning game, it becomes noticeable that there are remains of naivety on her. Dumb women won't ever have the idea, and experienced women realize they're wrong.

Something I realized I need to do after RP is being rational, almost scientific, if I plan to have a relationship. AWALT, if I have any suspicion and look for confirmations, I WILL find circumstantial evidence for it. So I'm trying to ease myself by developing a habit of also looking into evidence that falsifies my hypothesis.

*I made a habit of being skeptical about my impressions. AWALT and she can't be different, so whatever woman crap I become suspicious about, I'll confirm it if I try. So instead I'm looking into making a habit of falsifying my sus

I don't hide my concerns to her. It's too shitty to be in a relationship and not be able to talk about emotions with your partner. However I make sure to NEVER go on and on about it. Like I say what I'm feeling sometimes, we talk about it a bit, then case closed. People, not only women HATE whiners. There're just so many reasons not to try to keep it going forever. One reason I haven't mentioned in this thread is that at a certain age, you lose your libido to the point that having a woman around becomes much less practical. You wanna fuck them, and that's what they're best used for. Anything else would be better accomplished with male buddies.
