Two things I have always found interesting when it comes to the differences between male and female attraction in humans.

Most men don't even notice what is makeup and what isn't. A lot of it goes over their heads therefore they believe the woman to just look like that always.
A man will deem a woman unattractive or less of value if he finds out she is only pretty while wearing makeup while a woman will find a man who looks good attractive more because of what it entails (a man who takes care of himself and has the self respect to keep up his appearance) than the shape of his skeleton or what genes he was born with.
