There is a cultural shift away from TRP on the internet as a whole. This has resulted in this sub becoming increasingly concentrated with TRP posters. That doesn't make sense at first, but if you think about it longer it makes perfect sense.

In earlier years, TRP had something of a rise to prominence, at least on Reddit itself. When TRP was on the rise, it had a lot more clout and a lot more activity.

This gets us into TBP. There is no secret cabal of TBP posters anywhere that you can locate, and there is no credo of beliefs that TBP follows. TBP is defined entirely and solely by opposition to and pointing out the ridiculousness of TRP. TBP itself was a subreddit which was named as a tongue in cheek reference to the same movie that TRP took its terminology from.

As TRP fell from grace, not only being quarantined by Reddit but also being mocked in popular discourse through the shaming of affiliated movements like MGTOW and Incels. Combined, TRP became less of a battleground. Reactionary RP leaders began shifting away from solely specializing on women and seduction and instead supporting more general conservative policies like Trumpism and The Donald- which are much more recent battlegrounds than The Red Pill.

That said, TRP is still an affirmative ideology that spreads using cult-like tactics indoctrinating vulnerable men. As such, even though less important and increasingly irrelevant, covens of acolytes hold out in the ruins of its prior splendor. Even here you see posters naively asking whether in an (always unspecified) amount of time people will accept TRP. At some point in the future, they cling to, their cult will be validated.

It's these acolytes that make up the majority of PPD in 2020. TBP has largely moved on, so its representation in these halls is a shadow of what it once was, there are a few TBP posters left, but not as many as there were when TRP itself was more worthy of debating against. Now, it's just another collapsed relic of what TRP once was, stalked by cultists of an increasingly irrelevant chapter of the internet.

Liberals don’t want to talk to conservatives or even hear their views. Since they can’t scream at them or shut them down on this sub, they leave. Conservatives are more used to everyone opposing them and having to present arguments for their views.

I have seen a increase in libertarian and Laissez-faire mentality. Not exactly conservatism.

After all, the sexual/relaitonship market is mostly now a free market. And more and more people are becoming aware of it.

Women aren't 'behaving' conservative, they are 'behaving libertarian'. i.e. paying attention to their own behavior in order to not strangle their future opportunities.

Gen Z is somewhat more conservative than the millenials, but I think that "internet arguments about gender stuff" fell somewhat out of fashion with the "let's get high and talk about Kant" crowd, who seem to be weirdly into zoning laws and the environment these days, and more tradcons moved into the stomping grounds.

There has been a drought of conservative, "traditional" viewpoints from basically even being allowed to be said without strong "CLAPBACK" cancel culture shutdown.

It's not a matter of conservatism, it's just being reasonable. Women shouldn't have casual sex for free because no strings attached sex is a better deal for men than for women. The man has to be providing some extra benefit. (commitment, money etc.)

Because "conservative" (right wing / traditional) viewpoints are more closely aligned with biological and historical reality, so in a neutral forum where there is a debate, the entire consensus tends to move to the "conservative" side over time.

"Liberals" (in the American sense - so leftists / progressives) only win debates when they rig the game, that is, censor / threaten / lie about the opposition. This is why conservatives tend to be pro free speech, and liberals anti free speech. Conservatives think (and know from experience) they can win open debates of ideas, liberals know they generally will lose if they can't stack the deck in their favor or rely heavily on emotional tantrums.

Blue-pill feminism is an outgrowth of American "liberalism", where as Red-pill is an outgrowth of American conservative traditionalism, so over time, in a forum like this the consensus will slowly skew more and more towards the "red pill" side.

Red/Black Pillers who argue on here are more likely to be conservative, and as the majority blue pillers either don't feel that strongly for anything specific as they just oppose red-pill as well as people tend to stop arguing when everything goes in circles, you start to see more red pill posts. That's my theory anyways. I think in general, you hear more people speak out their conservatism as a response to the rise of the left/liberals/progressives/whatever in the social consciousness.

There's actually a "conservative Left" now. Anti-SJW liberals and Leftists opposed to the Cultural Left. Or redpilled socialists if you will. The Cultural Left has gone so far insane that even some people on the Left have had it up to here with them.

These people are some combination of left on economics and some variation of conservative on social issues. Most are in between the Cultural Left and the Republican Party social conservatives. They say they're both insane so they reject both of them.

There are many leftwing incels, liberals, Leftists, and even socialists, anarchists and Communists. It's not true that incels are all rightwingers. There seem to be some Left MRA's popping up too who reject the main rightwing MRA's and cucked out Men's Liberation Movement. One sub is called masculism. Seems to be in between MRA's and Men's Libbers, but definitely on the Left. Very pro-masculine though. That's a reaction too because not only is the Cultural Left anti-male, they are absolutely anti-masculine.

Thanks for that. I'm British, so don't know that much about US politics generally. Son from what you're have shared, the alternative left would be some the people in Britain who were originally labour voters but moved towards UKIP in the last decade. They want decent social security for the poor, more nationalisation, but have issues with the current state of play over LGBT, immigration, and race stances of labour. They want to almost move back in time where those groups were less accepted and normalised, and Britain was more a white straight male working class centred country?

I don't fall into that catagory really. I am economically left, and socially mixed. I believe in everyone being allowed to make their own sexual choices. I believe that gender is more complex than just biological sex, and that we will see a lot more research through neuroscience that addresses why the conviction some have that their bio sex and gender doesn't match. I believe that we have a long way to go to make society a positive and equal place, and that immigration isn't as much of an issue as government failures to ensure our country is prosperous is the root of why there is so much anti-immigration feeling here.

I do think that feminism in its current form is causing misery for women. Certainly the evidence that shows how much unhappier women are atests to that. Women going in to the work place has only resulted in women doing almost all of the work they have always had to do at home, as well as do a job. Some of this to me is rooted in the fact that we have such an obsession with buying and consuming, and this costs so much of our money and lives. I think hook up culture is really horrid, and is going to damage far more relationships than it creates. But I'm also not the sex police, so that's not my choice. People will always do whatever they want. I think kids deserve 2 parents who actually make their marriage work, but people seem to have no ability to do so now. I also think people should be married before having kids.

I guess I have a mix of ideals and values, but also feel that governments should not act too harshly to curtail individual choices.

This subreddit is changing. PPD has had a dramatic reduction in logicians from both ends of the gender spectrum and replaced them with people looking for a reaction. 10% of the time on this sub there are actual topics for expanding your understanding, the rest is gendered gotcha posts for people who only care that they're better than someone else.

In my opinion the increasing conservative lean you're noting is coming from a new group that isn't sidebar redpill/rpw or incel but still hosts a level of contempt for women's reactions to their new place in the dating market. They're a natural polar response to the increase of the "all men are potential rapists who don't know that they should brush their teeth" type post.

It's probably a combination of older people posting here more (who tend towards traditionalism) and more association between modern social ills and libertine sexual values. It may also be that there as simply more red pill people around.

Liberalism won in the cultural-sex wars and it's produced a huge glut of single mothers, sexlessness, and dysfunctional relationships in which commitment means little (granted sexual liberalism is not the only cause). People are increasingly aware of these social failures and it's very difficult to not draw some association with the dominate (liberal) sexual culture.
