In my college, I had a friend who got pregnant by her then boyfriend who was also pretty toxic. He convinced her to abort. They continued their toxic relationship for a few more years after we graduated but he'd constantly throw in her face that she'd gotten the abortion...which he'd begged her for in the first place. Men are so disgusting and I feel like we're better off without them sometimes.

This is so true and beyond awful.

I can't personally ever date a guy who is anti-choice. Guys can decide not to be parents by just abandoning their kids but they have so much to say.

My daughter’s father was the “You have to abort, I’m not ready to be a father” except he was particularly cruel about his choice of words.

Don’t forget it’s also the woman’s fault if the man doesn’t stick around to be a parent. No blame for the deadbeat dad (he should have the right to opt out and not pay child support if he tells her he doesn’t want it) but she’s a POS for getting pregnant with someone who doesn’t stick around.

I actually had the opposite problem:( my mom is the one who convinced me to abort 4 years ago. She pretty much told me that she wouldn't help me at all, whether that be driving to dr. appointments or helping with the baby care, and anything inbetween. Basically being a single mom was the worst decision possible, and aborting it would be better for me. It made me feel so shitty because my friend got pregnant that year and even though her and her family were dirt poor, the women in her family (her mom, sisters, aunts, grandmothers) all got together and threw her a baby shower. They showed her real support and they love her daughter. My friend was a single mom too for a time until she found her fiance :/ I dunno, I just think it's weird that my mom wouldn't be ecstatic to meet her grandchild.. I have regretted my decision ever since. My bf understands my pain and after we marry he said we can start trying for a baby right away. I want nothing more tbh.

And those joint custody or sole custody men, we need to watch. Their moms, sisters, aunts, or new gf/wife ends up taking care of their child(ren). No CS and a built in babysitter.
