15-20 years ago there were no smartphones, there were video games, porn, and social media but those were both a lot more niche than they were now. There was much less instant gratification than we have now, nowadays men are brought up on social media, video games, and porn and things like this wire us to be complacent and introverted. I can almost guarantee if you compared the rates of college aged men today that have an IRL friend group, go out on the weekends, etc it’d be drastically lower than it was 15-20 years ago too, just like male virginity rates among college aged men are obviously much higher. Is this due to female hypergamy?
