She has given him every opportunity to make things for "equal" by letting him buy half the house or getting a new place together and he says he won't do that. So him not liking paying "rent" is a bullshit excuse to live entirely off of her efforts and money so that in a few years he can retire and divorce her.

My last NVex made about a quarter of what I make. His excuse for not wanting to pay his share of rent and living expenses was that I was 'already paying rent anyway' whether or not he was there. This is their freeloading attitude.

He won’t buy a house with her because HE KNOWS that buying an equivalent house wherein he pays 1/2 the mortgage, 1/2 the taxes and 1/2 the upkeep would cost him way more than staying there for 2k a month.

Does this 🤡 know what it costs to even rent a 1 bedroom tiny apartment in my hometown? They started at $1k a month with nothing included other than the dumpster for trash. They were tiny, roach infested, street parking, old, and in the ghetto neighborhoods.

And then hes complaining her house is full of her stuff 🤡

There was a post on FDS a little while back where the dude charged the woman and he was using the money on other women 🚩 I wouldn't be surprised if he is trying to get out of paying his wife the $2k so he can spend it on a girlfriend or p0rn or str/p c/ub$

Sounds like they talked about finances a lot before the marriage though, did all the right things, did the prenup and she kept her money seperate... and see this is why you need a prenup and to keep your money separate, you can vet and make agreements but they will show their true self and you need to be set so you can get out.

She needs to kick him out, change the locks, and file for divorce asap he will cause more issues or start retaliating

Unpopular opinion but if I marry a man who owns his own home, I’m not paying rent. 😬 We’ll have a joint account to contribute to the upkeep of the home but I’m not paying you to live with you in a paid for home. Especially if we have children? Nope! We’ll keep our individual retirement accounts and checking accounts and create a joint account for shared expenses like utilities, food, child care etc.

I’m gonna get downvoted for this and I wanna be clear that I love this sub. But if we were to reverse the genders, everyone here, myself included, would be up in arms about how she is unappreciated and being exploited. I posted something to that effect recently here, saying that a man who massively out-earns his female partner but still wants her to chip in disproportionately is showing a character flaw. How is this different? Genuine question.

It seems to me that she is profiting off of him in the way that so many men have profited off of women. What’s the point of getting married in this situation? It seems more suited to a landlord-tenant relationship.

He clearly cannot provide for her at her level due to the income gap. If it was so important to her that her partner contribute financially, then she should have married someone of greater means. I’m sad to say that this post simply reads as greedy and almost mercenary to me.
