I once posted on Reddit asking for advice. A male friend of mine made me walk home while I was under the influence of a certain new agey substance. I was really scared and he wouldn't take me. I knew him since we were 7 so I trusted him to do the trip with. Nothing physical took place.

Anyway he wouldn't drive me home and made excuses so I had to go all the way home by myself. Scared and disoriented. I got off the tram a stop too early and got back on the tram heading in the opposite direction. That's how fucking messed up I was. I was so scared.

When I got home I couldn't believe he let me go home in that state, but I wasn't sure if I should have thrown a long friendship away over that or maybe reality was altered to the point where I couldn't tell if he was being a bad friend or not. So I asked for advice on Reddit and almost everyone sided with the guy. One even got angry with me saying he was looking after me and everything and I was being a bitch.

Because of that I did continue the friendship with him, but down the line I really got to know him better and he wasn't a good person at all. He was incredibly selfish and opportunistic and brought me a lot of grief. I wish I could've spared all of that by ditching him when he showed his colors earlier.

I'm so sorry to my past self. I should've been more protective of myself over whom I allowed in my life. FDS is teaching women this.
