I'm not here to deny that stereotypes exist for a reason. I'm stating that while you may have a point, there are other reasons that may and do contribute to racial stereotyping. I'm also not calling you racist for talking about race. I think dialogue is important to understanding sociopolitical nuance.
We moved around a lot as a kid, I've lived in a wide range of areas, from white suburbia, to trailer parks, foreign countries, to black ghettos. Facts can’t be racist - they are an objective observation of reality (assuming the underlying fact is accurate). So (assuming the validity of the statistic in question), if someone says that X group represents Y% of violent crime, and therefore that as part of a specific demographic, that the person is statistically more likely to commit a crime, the statement isn’t racist (albeit it is certainly inflammatory).
What is racist is to attribute the behavior to a fundamental difference between people of different demographics.

The fact is that poor, predominantly black communities have a culture problem. It is one that heavily involves violence and intimidation, with a focus on pecking order. These are all poverty problems and culture problems, which all lead to more poverty and more bad culture. Racism would be going "All that happens because skin color". Not sure what your goal is here. Does racism need a Devil's Advocate? Does it need defending? I don't quite understand your motive. I don't mind understanding other's motives and being empathetic, but it sounds pretty cut and dry there.
Too often on reddit we get folks who say "Is racism that bad?" At first it sounds like a genuine question or proposing a devils advocate approach. Really it's just to incite more heated conversations and name calling. I'm not gonna do that. I'm also not here to play games or to normalize racism.
Usually, it's russian trolls inciting fights between people. Posing as innocent people, asking questions like "Why is everyone mad at Kanye? I don't understand?" or "Why is it so bad to say the N-Word?" like they don't know.
Not falling for these tactics again, every time there's talks about race there's always a white night (no pun intended there) trying to defend it. Acting as if speaking against racism is a problem. You are speaking too. We all have a voice. You use yours and I will use mine.
