I am a woman. I know I can’t ever fully understand how horrible those things make men feel but I just want to say I’m sorry there’s so much of it out there.

Personally I do not share those thoughts and I never talk men down when out with a group like many women do. Every woman I have experienced doing this is very hurt and gotten to the point of anger. If I call a woman out for it and we get to talking, it’s generally a situation where she starts crying. She actually loves her man. I find it similar to in here, there’s a lot of hatred toward women and I know it’s due to being hurt.

When people are hateful it’s almost always due to an internal issue they have.

That being said, I see what society is doing to men and it’s sick. Society is making it ok to men bash. I love everything about men and have great respect for having a partnership.

I don’t have social media like sc and fb, etc because of the shit like what you’re saying. Not just men shaming but all sorts of other bullshit. It’s an echo chamber of all the same bs and the people who think like me are misunderstood and shamed. The world is pretty backwards in many ways. But it’s not reality, like obviously there are people who think and act that way, but there are plenty of women who appreciate men and love and make that space to admire men. Men and women are very different. And I’ve gotten frustrated because of those differences, but I know I am going to frustrate a man with my differences. I don’t want a man to be like a woman! Ya know. And I don’t want to get to a place of hatred for all men.

Just make sure to discuss mens rights and men shaming at the beginning of your next relationship and see where the person stands. That will give you a good indication of how she will treat you.

Here's the thing NAWALT vs AWALT kind of missed the point. All women are hypergamous, but it varies from small to huge. All women want men to be providers, but vary from small to huge. There are exceptions, but they are few and vary with culture.

So in the modern / 1st world / west, maybe 2-5% of women are truly fit for marriage. In parts of South America or SEA (Southeast Asia) the number could be as high as 15-20%. It's not that there's a land a perfect women, it's that their culture helps control things. This is why sometimes when you remove them from that culture they get just as bad, or worst, than western women.

I've been considering trying to be gay for the time being for this reason. Women are just all full of shit.

I hear stories of how gay couples get on like the house is on fire for years on end, play video games together without insulting each others hobby choices, go on trips men actually want i.e. a trek across America, an endurance test across the Amazon River in a boat or a barge, etc.

Women always bring along with them baggage of suppressed hate, jealousy, sensitivity, narcissism, selfishness and one day sooner or later in the relationship it all comes flying out all at once and you wonder to yourself "I don't even know who this person is anymore, it's like over 1 day she completely changed".

Well she always was like that, she just put on a fake act for years.

I am dating a girl and we both have our own places, the relationship is challenging because of this arrangement. She comes over for sleepovers once a week, but at the same time I don't have to worry too much about financial things. You still can have an enjoyable relationship if you both know what is at stake. I may be a little disillusioned but am trying to figure out what I want down the road. So much happening in the world, right now just trying to enjoy life and heal and see where things lead. You can have a good relationship, not all women are bad, you just have to be aware of what you getting into and project yourself the best you can.

It's a cultural phenonium in the US and probably in many other western countries. I used to hate watching sitcoms in the 90's where all of a sudden the typical father figure was consistently portrayed as a bumbling idiot more often than not, the butt of all jokes and all that crap. Fortunately, not every American woman is like that and there seems to be a growing desire for more traditional values. Seems to be worse with white women. And no, I'm not arguing we bring back Father Knows Best while mommy is drugged up to deal with the monotony of her life.

You are abandoning your wife who has been a victim of assault by her father who just got out of jail. Who is re-grooming her and she is spiraling and needs help which you haven't offered or given her, and you are trying to take full custody of the children. Stay off social media. I see plenty of posts from men about their wives. The problem with social media algorithms, is that it ends up sending you down a rabbit hole because once you see one, it will give you more, and before you know it you are surrounded in a deep echo chamber.

Have things changed and is it generally harder / is there a larger group of women and men who all just suck these days? Probably.

Are there plenty of good men and women out there? Probably.

Between what female social media shows how terrible men are, and what male social media shows how terrible women are, and a world where every one is great, the answer is somewhere between that. Social media is almost always a tool walking a thin line between good and terrible influence, and almost always is terrible especially in situations like a divorce.
