How many of you tried to cope with alcohol?

My wife left me after 13 years and with two small kids (5 and 7). The usual shit "just not happy anymore". No infidelity, no alcoholism, no drugs, just keeping my head down, working, providing, buying a beautiful house for our family.
I guess it got boring - my explanation at the time was "I need to find purpose, this is just not fulfilling". Three months after the divorce she introduced our kids to her "new" boyfriend. Two months later, they moved in with him - 200km away.
I see my kids seldom, I paids half of everything I ever built/earned/saved. I got to keep the house, but there is a hefty mortgage on it still and I now pay child support.

This all happened at the start of 2023. I am still drinking way more than I should. Right now I am consuming vodka orange - its not even four in the afternoon and I have a buzz. I know it is not good, but I just can't cope.

Eventually I will have to find my way back to "normal", but for now it helps me drown my sorrows.
I miss my family (although not my cunt of an ex-wife).
