with a HVM there's no waste. Yes, I want to spoil that person, I wanna give them presents, I am that type of woman, who pays attention to likes/ dislikes and 9/10 gets the right gift for someone. but I'll let you know that my blood boils when they're together for 7 years and he is still giving her a shitty excuse: "I didn't know what you liked" and gives her a teddy bear or a bouquet or a box of chocolates. they are all nice gifts but hey//// if after 7 years you haven't been paying attention to her, what she likes what she doesn't... you're not much of a partner, you're there for the good times only. you have no excuse.

A close family friend of mine owns a high end jewelry store. The stories she tells me about how some (keyword, SOME) men put so much effort into the details & talk about how excited they are to make their girlfriend their fiancé is really one of the main reasons I won’t settle. The internet manosphere wants to break us down and normalize quarter machine rings and to be grateful for the bare minimum. Ladies, NEVER SETTLE!

It really is true. My bf came home from work last week with roses for me. He got pink ones to match my hair. He’s being considered for a promotion so they were a thank you for believing in him. He’s not perfect, but he’s a good dude with a good heart and makes my life significantly better.

This is a HVM proposal for sure and puts some of my proposals to shame..but it makes me laugh that HE posted this. She should have done. He’s virtue bragging about how wonderful and cleverly thought out it all was. No mention of how lovely his girlfriend is - just him wanting applause for his amazing efforts 😂

I just wanted to say my old best friend attended my brother’s funeral wearing the largest rock I have ever seen on her right hand. I remember it from when we were best friends and the married millionaire she was dating gave it to her as an engagement ring. She dumped him when she realized he had a baby with his wife at the same time they had their 2nd kid. She kept the ring and I guess it only appraised for $30k now, but whatever she should have kept it fuck that guy.
