After I get off I'm going to exfoliate body with an expensive bath soap called Nècessaire, moisturize with a moisturizer and then lotion my body down and eat as hot breakfast and drink some hot tea.

Was going to have classes for 7 days straight, so I was like fuck it, I'm not gonna go one day. So I've the whole Sunday to myself, I've planned to buy a television for my living room, will purchase it in the evening. Apart from that, I will order takeaways and binge watch crime series. Sometimes, you gotta say fuck it and skip that class or work and take a holiday for yourself just for your mental health.

I'm planning on staying in and hanging with our cat, doing my nails, doing a face mask, and relaxing with a glass or two of wine. And maybe some yoga and meditation if I'm up for it, before bed.

I told people I was busy this weekend so I didnt have to leave the house or have a face paced weekend.

Saturday was me cleaning (which i enjoy and was getting crazy since starting university the other week), spending time playing games with my child, then we ordered pizza and watched a movie

Sunday will be lazy pyjama day for us, maybe do face masks and play hair dressers. before back to the grind Monday and the inevitable stress of having to see narc ex for handover Friday which is stressful for both me and child.

I’m going to the gym tomorrow. Haven’t been able to go in the last 2 months because I just started my new degree. It’s been difficult to adjust to the workload especially with corona. To makenthis losing weight thing more pleasurable for myself I just ordered some workout stuff. 😌

I’ve been watching hindash (makeup artist) on YouTube and getting really good pointers. I definitely prefer watching real muas as opposed to beauty gurus. I went to a Sephora that was in a beautiful area and the only one near me that carried the Armani luminous silk foundation. It was the nicest Sephora I’ve been to. Very happy with the color match. It legit melts into my skin Currently watching tutorials before playing with makeup

It's my birthday today and I organized a low-key get together with my sailing friends. I took my OWN boat over solo and met up with some 6 other boats. It's both me doing something entirely for me (solo sailing!) And also being surrounded by my closest friends who love me.

I do this every week, a nice face mask, some hair masks, a body scrub once every two weeks, also nails. I make them myself and it's incredibly calming and relaxing. Also if anyone doesn't already, get into bullet journalling and even just journalling. I keep a bullet journal for tracking,planning, remembering special moments and affirmation, music I like etc and a personal journal for every day thoughts. It's so rewarding to get your feelings out there, even if I'm at my most angriest, when I write it down it feels like a release and it doesn't weigh me down anymore.

Over the next two days I am taking care of future-me by making 70 servings of soup for this fall/winter.

Soup is my favorite comfort food when it’s raining, and knowing I have a supply of different soups waiting for me at home is a great feeling.

Love this post

This weekend I’m taking a long drive on my own to visit a jewelry supply store for the mala necklaces that I make and have created a small business with. It’s 4 hours on my own with a long playlist to listen to on the way, a stop over for a nice lunch and then a long awaited visit to a store filled with beautiful jewelry making supplies. I am so excited to just be alone for a few hours doing something that fuels my creativity.
