Men will go where women are, this is why some bars are free or have special offers for women. Perhaps this is the result of fewer women using dating apps?

Does anyone have better luck on paid dating sites? Tinder is certainly a wide sampling of society being free. Does a pay wall help at all?

I was in a less populated city and kept swiping through all the matches. Tinder would show me profiles from further away and I also seemed to get more ladies even though I'm set to meet men. Not sure if that was Tinder or if it was more common for women to mark themselves as guys (if that's what was happening, I'm just guessing).

I moved to a larger city and seldom see people I've swiped left to again.

Global mode is free because the only way for dating apps to survive is to become a worse version of mail order brides. If women are in the minority on dating apps, then by process of elimination men must be up to international fuckery.

I think that they’re migrating to the new “it” place. In the early days of OLD, Tinder was considered to be the number one dating app. By 2015-2018 Bumble was popping off. Around 2019, Hinge was taking off. I don’t know if there’s another new popular app since I left OLD in August.

Even if the number of men are declining, the male to female ratio will never be matched since there was never enough women using OLD to begin with. Lol

Woman are leaving dating apps in their droves - particularly high value ones. I have never met a single sane woman who uses them seriously.

Men now know this and are branching out.

I have seen Men who have had no interest in the gym or swimming start to sign up to exclusive swimming baths where I live locally - stating it was a hobby for their ‘mental health’. No. Its where attractive, wealthy, single woman go.

It’s not just you. I date women also and got on HER recently. The dating pool for WSW is small in contrast to heterosexual dating, but the app felt like a huge dead end and I’ve had many likes, matches, and messages, but… lots of ghosting, lots of wishy washy behavior, lots of “just looking for friends”, and bots.

Yeah, just like Internet forums are dead, so is OLD. Never thought I’d see the day of its downfall. I’m going to delete HER later on today. It’s just empty.

I used to have Bumble again for a few weeks but the amount of low value men is astounding. You can add on there what you're looking for but they'll still don't know if they want what they're looking for or they flat out lie. They can't pronounce the words: relationship, girlfriend or wife, last time I matched with this air-head, he said that he was looking for a +1, totally aware of what he meant, I said: you mean girlfriend? Then he got annoyed so I deleted him immediately 🥴

On Bumble there's this rule that women can start the conversation for the sake of their own safety. First of all how exactly is this a safer way? We can still receive shrimp-pics, get harrased and whatsoever. These men can't even keep a conversation, most of them expect when you're saying hi that you continue to actively lead the conversation etc.etc.etc.

Paid dating apps are already a desperation hole, I tried it and the people on there are even more desperate to be honest and expect more whilest they can't even match the bare minimum when it comes to bare minimum standards. Non-paid dating apps are just the drain of paid-dating apps.

It might be your location. As of 2021, Tinder is 78% male and 22% female in terms of users (Source: https://datingzest.com/tinder-statistics/). Bumble and Hinge are 65% male and 35% female.

If anything, the dating apps are declining in terms of number of women, but the number of men keeps climbing.
