Dad cheats on mom, she has an aneurysm and died before divorce. His daughter was an 18 year old child when this all happened. His daughter decides to make amends after she sees how happy he is and he decides to take the opportunity to shit all over his dead ex-wife????

This opened up a ton of emotions for me. My parents divorced when I was very young, and my mom died when I was a teen. I reconnected with my dad, but every now and then he would make awful comments about my dead mother. It made me furious. I feel so sorry her dad tried to spin it around on her and make her look like the asshole when he publicly said such awful things. And sorry but she WAS his mistress. If that term offends you, maybe wait for the divorce to be finalized before you stick your dick somewhere else.

I'm grateful that my step-dad really cared about my mom & took care of her at the end of her life. She got cancer & passed a few months after diagnosis. He helped her, took care of her, cleaned her, stayed by her side the entire time. When she was had to stay sleeping in the hospital bed in the living room he would bring his bed mattress out to the living room each night to sleep with her.

There are good spouses out there. It seems more of them aren't good & it worries me if I ever find a long-term spouse or marry. My ex of 4 years turned out to be terrible & I haven't been in a serious relationship since then. I may never be in another serious relationship because so many men are terrible. It really makes me sad that I may never have a "love of my life" :(
