I'm SICK of these entitled privileged libfems who spend all day coddling males and their depravity. Because no women who come from countries where prostitution is rampant defend it.

I'm sick of this internet culture where we live by concepts and not by reality. If this woman was brought in a brothel or was shown the reality of strip clubs her tune WOULD change.

Hard to be compassionate for men when they're paying to abuse a mother who lost her job and needs money quickly, or a girl trafficked since birth who knows no other world than that. They think that barely making 100$ a month by selling their feet pictures makes them entitled to speak for all "sex workers", and to defend the poor men who just need to be understood, they are so oppressed! :(

Male feminists don’t exist because every man benefits from the existence of patriarchy. The same men that say sex work is work and see nothing wrong with porn are also the same men that will be swerving sex workers and pornstars when it comes to relationships. Not to mention, the concept of 50/50 is a total scam because men and women do not start off on the same footing.

She's missing the point. Yeah prostitution is "work" but it is a job no one should be doing. Being against prostitution because it is violating, degrading and sexually exploitative has nothing to do with "demeaning sex workers". We don't think they're immoral, or "sluts" or worth less than "normal" women. We don't think they're going to hell or that sex is wrong. If anything we are warning against the dehumanization and even physical risks they're experiencing/going to experience.

BEING AGAINST PROSTITUTION =/= BEING AGAINST SEX WORKERS, except the ones who promote it as this cool, get-rich-quick scheme and even encourage underage girls to do it once they turn 18.

Liberal men call prostitutes demeaning names like whore and slut but they mask it as dirty talk. Vast majority of them would fuck one but never marry one. The same liberal men watch torture porn and it never clicks for them "that must hurt, I feel sorry for her". For them shs's just an object. They still need to be told to do chores around the house, they just don't argue back "that's a woman's job".

Amen. Anytime I’ve asked a “sex work is work!!” person (almost always a man!) the following, I have gotten blank stares and/or stammering answers that end with “I don’t know the answers but I really respect you.” Ok.

how will OSHA or other regulatory agencies regulate and supervise the industry?
who will insure it?
how will sexual harassment and assault claims, within the industry, be handled?
what do you propose for disease and now, COVID-19, testing and prevention protocols?
where are the lawyers who will represent the sex workers when that time inevitably comes — and who will pay them?

Except FDS didn't even come up with all this. Many feminists have long seen through and criticized "liberal" / corporate feminism and the rather harmful effects of "sex work." But of course these are not the kind of feminists that are featured in the media, they are often silenced and ignored at best. I came to discover what real feminism meant through a school essay I wrote about child sex trafficking (Which was considered too dark and difficult as a topic by my male professor anyhow, smh)!

Where does she get her information? She drew a Venn diagram in her mind that ended up looking like two circles with no overlap. One with liberal men who approve of sex work and will wash dishes. Another one with conservative males who denounce prostitution on moral grounds but won’t pick up their socks.
She’s the one who’s drawing wrong conclusions. 🤡 I think whether or not they support sex work, either group of men probably aren’t lifting a finger to do their own housework and most men aren’t 100%. respectful and egalitarian in their treatment of women regardless of if their identification as liberal or conservative. HVMs will support what best for women (not being trafficked for sex) and will also wash their own laundry and cook meals.
