In the spirit of saving my precious time, I have a method of reviewing OLD pictures that identifies LVM and NVM rather quickly and easily. Keep in mind, this list is not exhaustive, and is catered to what I would accept in a relationship partner. I would love to hear how y'all vet photos and expand this list. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Car Selfie

Very common picture. Look at the roof. Is it filthy? Covered in stains? What are the contents of the car? Is there a car seat in the back? If he said he doesn't have children, and there's a car seat, he's likely lying. Does it look like he lives in there? Pay close attention to the car selfie, and smash that block (STB) if something looks amiss.

Shirtless Bathroom Selfie

Is a shirtless bathroom selfie his primary photo? Or his only photo? His intentions are crystal clear. He's presenting himself in a sexual way. There is no excuse to not throw on a basic t-shirt and take the same photo in the bathroom, clothed, UNLESS he wants to present his physique and confidence. Personally, I smash that block.

The Ultra Cropper

Smell the crap behind the crop. 💩 If every photo he's in is cropped, what was left out? He's in a suit and half the pic is cropped: who was he standing next to? It takes two seconds to blur out the face of his mom or sister, but to hide a wife, girlfriend or ex; a quick slice down the centre is his best bet. He thinks he looks great suited up, but we're smarter than a suit made of smoke and mirrors. Have some crop-caution when multiple pics are like this.

Children in view

If he didn't take the time to blur the face of him holding a child, BLOCK. It doesn't matter if it's his child, or a niece or nephew. Children must be protected. Their privacy is more important than a great photo op. Selfish.

Screenshots

OK he took a screenshot of a pic, and you can see the whole camera roll at the bottom. Maybe he's not so tech savvy... or maybe the pic is old as hell and he had to dive deep to day 18 of when he got his smartphone. Be weary of these. Personally I screenshot to cut down on the image quality purposefully. Think: why is this a a screenshot?

House selfie

LOOK AT THE BACKGROUND, and look closely. Look at the mouldings, the walls, the carpets. Is it a decrepit dumpster of dirt? Is the shower stall behind him a rock solid calcium deposit? What does his kitchen look like? Are there dishes everywhere? Look for signs of cohabitation. Look for pictures on the fridge. What does the decor say?

Clothing

First, look at their shoes. These LVM out here claiming "6 FIGURES BOSS MAN" with holes in their shoes. Not kidding. If he's wearing a jewel toned dress shirt, or a tie that looks a little too wide, the photo is old. Look at the cut and fit of his clothes. Is he neat and tidy? Do you see stains? What logos and interests does he represent? If the shirt has an offensive message, or represents something hateful, BLOCK. He's wearing his opinion on his CHEST. He's telling the world who he is by how he dresses.

Speaking engagement/Graduation/Conference

This will give you some information on his education and line of work. Does it line up with his bio? Sometimes there are banners indicating the event name. Look into these organizations. If there is discrepancy between what he claims to be, and these photos, he's not telling the truth.

All photos are professional

Beware the ego. These men often have a public or high profile career. To not include one casual photo strikes me as off. It's a very controlled and contrived image. Yes, he may look his best in these shots, but it's not the real daily him, it's a neatly packaged and presented edited version.

Lives at the gym

4/5 pictures are him at the gym. You're fit, we get it! It's virtue signalling about how critical physical fitness is to him. Historically this is the type to police your body, asking you how frequently you work out and what you eat. Beware, concerns of your health (you, an absolute stranger) are veiled fears of your possible fatness, an absolute unacceptable horror to him. No problem, simply STB and move along.

Weird faces

Are the majority of his photos making a silly face? Sticking out his tongue? Pursing his lips? Over-expressed and jaw open? This is not someone comfortable with their appearance. He's not showing his face how you would normally see it. Why? Men continually harass and degrade women for the use of filters, but this is worse. Filters are kind of like makeup, they often soften the skin and improve lighting. I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with unrealistic beauty standards of filtered pics, what I am making a statement on: misused facial expressions as a means of disguise. This is someone not representing themselves fully.

Activities

Cue: Mountain-top shot of him conquering the entire planet. The reality is; it was taken 3 years ago. Their one-off activity photos are not always representative of daily hobbies. However, if you see a common theme, that activity has a higher chance of being a habitual hobby. For example, the guy at a beer gardens in 4/5 pics with a group of dudes with spills down the front of their shirts is more inclined to be a heavy drinker. Identify themes and patterns.

Can't wait to hear your red-flags and add to my vetting list. Stay blessed QUEENS!
