Yes and no. Attractive privilege does exist in life, however when it comes to dating and relationships nothing is guaranteed with men.

I have seen plenty of attractive women treated like shit. Generally speaking, men are nice when they believe there’s a possibility to fuck. But also keep in mind, most don’t want to put in the effort. So to relate back to this example, many LV men would view changing a tire as too much effort for their end goal.

Many of us still work in the corporate world, run by men, where unfortunately looks matter (for women) and not taking care of your looks means taking a significant pay cut over a lifetime. I believe we should be actively fighting against this double standard, but many of us are not in the financial position to fall on our sword for the cause. I hope that my daughters do not have to deal with this reality when they are older.

That being said, every girl and woman should also know how to exist without a man. I know how to change a tire, do basic wiring, do basic computer networking, plumbing, and build furniture. Men tend to be impressed by this, until they realize that their usefulness is limited by my skills (and sometimes they want me to do these things for them). To me, it is basic and necessary knowledge. I will teach my daughters the same.

This woman is preaching because I've said this for years and women are adverse to the idea because it comes off as brash. Ayn Rand was on to something when it comes to self interest over self sacrifice. The only one you can completely rely on to cover you...is YOU. You can be the most beautiful, most famous women in the world and people will still try to exploit and con you whenever they can, wherever you turn.

This is why I pushed my dad to teach me how to put up walls and splice wires and do my own brakes. I need to rely on myself. Men don't like this and that's why they make fun of the "strong independent women" thing because they genuinely, truly fear most women being INDEPENDENT women. Aka not needing their scrote presence or scrote services.

I dunno. I have an amazing new hair do, and I feel great. I have worked out hard and lost several clothing sizes. I'm strong, and I feel great! I think I look amazing and it gives me a lot of confidence. I bought myself new stylish clothes, and I love the way I look. I think those are all good things.

The real question ladies need to think about: why am I doing these things?

If you do them for yourself, then you're doing it right. If you're trying to impress someone, that's not going to work.

With fds the emphasis is on treating ourselves well and not because some guy is around the corner. It's not all about looks either. Kindness and eating healthy are forms of self care too. We should do what makes us feel good, for us. If an hvm shows up, cool, but if not, I feel better about myself when I'm showered and taking care of myself.

this was written from someone that sounds very bitter and that dealt with a lot of people that really hurt her.

I disagree. a high value woman will have the resources / planning to have issues like a flat tire taken care of ie you'll have something like AAA, or have learned how to pull over and put the donut on (and drive to a shop for a new tire asap - dont drive too long on the donut!)

there's no harm in self care but the thing is you should be doing it for YOU only! that diet or new hair or whatever should be for your own happiness and health

a high value woman should have the self confidence to not be seeking or needing the validation and attention from males or others

the point of FDS is to level up, know your worth, be(come) a HVW, and learn how to date smarter

one friend of mine actually did change my flat tire on super short notice and noticed a tiny change in my hair today. some men (or, well, people in general) do actually care and put in effort.

however, you should never expect it, you'll only be disappointed by the majority who just... doesn't. always believe people when they tell you who they are.

do things for yourself, level up for yourself. never to appeal to anyone else.
