I wouldn't really consider it bigotry, but ignorance. A lot of people legitimately believe that white males have zero handicap whatsoever. Granted, they are favoured in a lot of situations, it still doesn't mean that there aren't legitimate problems.

I feel like the pressure to be absolutely perfect and privileged is nearly insurmountable as a hetero white male. Instead of someone calling me a derogatory term out of bigotry, I get taken for granted because of my combination of gender/color of skin/supposed position in life. I come from immigrants who were all poor and worked till they died.

Actually seems quite reasonable to me, she says that white men don't face any oppression, but that she would help anyone who needs her help. You just need to show her the facts, and if she's intellectually honest, she'll admit that she was wrong and when a chance comes to help a white man in need, she will.

Humanism isn't an ideology; it's an insult. I.E. if you call yourself a humanist, you're essentially implying that anyone who does not have your ideology has an ideology which is not designed to be what's best for humans.

So, at what point do we start just thinking of ourselves as a bunch of monkeys slinging around in circles on a big rock in the middle of fucking nowhere? We all have problems. We all have struggles. Life is hard for everyone. If there are no external forces of adversity, then we either project them, or create internal adversity. Even the richest of the rich white men have problems and stress.

It is only when we accept the reality of our life, do what we love to do, and respect others that we can really be at peace with our place in this world.
