We all seem to be missing a rather important fact.

When women hog seats with their bags or spread their legs they are simply being inconsiderate slobs.

When men spread their legs they are doing so because of biology. Men have differently shaped hips and a higher center of gravity. Moreover crushing the testes causes infertility. Men who take public transport every day NEED to spread their legs.

The campaign against "manspreading" is the persecution of men on public transport for their physiology. It would be like castigating women for having larger breasts and buttocks. It is a despicable campaign by feminists to harass men for the way they were born.

Again, NOT comparable to rude, narcissistic women who think their bags deserve an extra seat. Or the weirdo in this picture.

The fuck does it matter? If nobody is sitting next to you and nobody is standing looking for a seat, then what does it matter if you spread out a bit? I'm a guy and have sat next to other guys who legitimately do spread their legs real wide and it's super annoying. I've never encountered a woman who did this. That's what women are complaining about. Not spreading yourself out when nobody is next to you.

This sub has started to become over-inflated with posts that are basically as hateful/hyopcritic as most of the feminist we so claim to loathe. You have become what you hate.

Posts used to be about true victories in the fights against the feminazi regime. Those trying to take our rights away purely because of our gender.

Now we just seem to be as cynical and hate filled as those we set out to defend ourselves against.

What are we doing folks? I want to see progress in the fight for true equality. Where gender is not influential in our lives.

How are we to obtain a peaceful solution to our issues while we're just jabbing back every chance we get. That's not how you solve problems. That's how they are created. Wars. Apartheid. Genocide. Every one of these started with a conflict where neither side would budge. And would throw back whatever the other was dishing out. And then it escalates.

We need a better strategy than this.

I'd like to say if anyone come help me understand why there has been an uproar over this "man spreading " please message me and if anyone can put this statement in context (quoted from my GR11 history notes on the second wave of feminism) "the everyday middle class home in the 1960's was like a comfortable concentration camp" - stated something like that. And personally coming from a family that on one side is German-Jewish that lived in Nazi Germany and the other coming from South Africa during the British concentration camps and hearing my great grandfathers stories, what on f***ing hell are they talking about?
