I agree. All the gossipy judgy shit is useless. Guys venting, and venting in a way that ultimately isn't very useful for them, just making them more confused and angry.

They get all wrapped up in something that should mean nothing to them, they're just wasting their time and the subs space IMO. But TRP (the sub) has a conscious policy of letting guys vent about stuff they want to vent about, so the gossipy pity party continues....

Anything that doesn't fit their narrow list of things that they personally like is simply bad, but that may just be because lots of them are STEMlords and STEM attracts people that think that they are better than everyone else for being able to type some numbers into a calculator. That's just their lack of self awareness, rigid cognitive style, lack of empathy and lowkey autism.

If someone is different than them they aren't just different, no they are inferior to them. If someone likes something that they done personally like they are bad people for having different taste.

I guess if everything you've got going on for you is a high IQ you simply start to look for reasons for why others are inferior to you even if it means deciding to that they are inferior simply for enjoying different hobbies, lifestyles and media.

Now mix a high Systemizing Quotient into it along with a desperate need to feel superior and the tendency to judge others by stereotypes rather than by how they individually are and you've got the recipe for their judgemental cognitive style.

I'm very judgmental, but I'm equally cool.

For example. I think fat people are being ridiculous and ought to wear a god damn burlap sack, work out constantly, and literally stop eating until they look right; but I'm very friendly towards them and give them full recognition for what strengths they do have.

It is possible to criticize someone and like them. So no, I don't think I'm too judgmental.

I don't really get why macron would be a beta.

He's president.
He's wealthy
His wife is wealthy (I've heard?) and legacy will be to him
Nobody knows his private life, maybe he has a harem or the relationship is open....

I don't think TRP are more judgemental or "too" judgemental compared to PP or BP, they just pick different things to squeal about, some are just as think skinned as the average SWJ/feminist that they like to go on about. They are quick to complain about being "shamed" some of them seem sincere about not enjoying being "shamed" and some are just being sarcastic. But either way I do not percieve them to be more judegmental thatn any other reddit human, it might seem that way because they focus on common themes and they are more likely to post here in PP.

The truth is that everyone judges everyone else all the time, even women who constantly berate others with "Don't judge!" and reassure still others with "I'm not judging!"

Judging, and judgment, simply mean the act of making decisions. It's choosing one thing over another; of selecting one course of action over another, because you think the thing or act you chose is better, more beneficial, or otherwise more aligned with your objectives, than the thing/act you did not select. You can't go through life without being judgmental. You can't make decent decisions, or even crappy ones, without judging. People do this all the time. So it makes no sense to take TRP to task for doing what everyone does, every day.

No, and here's why:

Calling something "too judgemental" isn't an honest criticism of anything. It's both inspecific, leaving whomever uttered it the final authority on the upper limits of acceptable judgment, while simultaneously providing no metrics by which to determine if anything has breeched it. This means the aforementioned authority can move the goalposts at will with no accountability as to having done so.

What calling anything "too judgemental" really amounts to is a disqualification tactic. You're not ciriticising TRP, you're relegating TRP to a bucket of badthink so you don't have to output the effort to come up with a defensible criticism.

It's sloppy, lazy, and not worth further discussion.

"Too judgmental" is an opinion that really doesn't say anything about the accused so much as it does about the person flinging the insult (mainly that they are uptight).

If anything, you're saying that you have lower standards than the person that you're trying to insult. I'm not sure why that's a bad thing. I'm proud that I have exacting standards, high expectations, and a low tolerance for stupidity and embarrassing flaws.

It's like when people try to mock, make fun of, or insult extremely wealthy people. I don't see how it's an insult, or why the less well-off people see it as 'winning.' It's better to have two yachts than it is to not be able to afford one at all...no amount of moral masturbation will change that. Owning a lot of expensive stuff doesn't make someone shallow. Being poor and going without the things you want doesn't make you enlightened or better as a person.

An insult really only matters if it comes from someone you actually care about and respect. At least, that's how it works for me.

People try to tell me that I'm 'abused,' 'stupid,' and 'sexist' all the damn time. They are dogmatically insistent about their claims, and I find it both perplexing and laughable.

So if RP users are 'too judgmental' from your perspective that's fine. It doesn't mean anything though.
