I’m pretty sure all of us who were afraid of spending the rest of our lives single has heard this phrase “there is someone for everyone” but I just don’t find that be true. The way I see it, some people are just born to never experience what it’s like to be in a relationship or have sex and with the way things are going now, there is going to be a lot of single men and women in the near future. The truth is not every man is going to be rich and handsome and not every woman is going to find her ideal man. You can put all the effort in the world but at the end of the day, you are still limited by genetics and circumstances. As much as some of us wish we can find the person who will give us the love and desire we’ve been looking for, reality will always remind us that it’s just not possible no matter how much you want to perceive it. Women are attracted to money and looks. Some men have the looks but not the money, some men have the money but not the looks, and very few men have both. But let’s not let this be a sob story. We might not find love and intimacy but we can still find enjoyment in other things that life has to offer us. Because we matter relationships or not. There might not be someone for everyone but at least we can be someone for ourselves.
