TRP is catering to the female imperative.

TBP says "Just be yourself".

TRP says "Be the one whom women (sexually) desire".

I would say, the former tells to live for yourself, while the latter to live to be sexually attractive.

TBP does not help sexually. It helps mentally. To not spend all your life chasing pussy and striving to be conventional Chad as much as you can be.

Of course, you can enjoy striving to be conventional Chad. Then, you are a terp. Anyone else spits the red pill out.

i will give you the direct answer for feminism at least, since "the blue pill " makes exactly ZERO claims to "helping men" or "helping anyone" and you have never once heard this claim anywhere. blue pill is not an ideology or a self help group

feminism claims that there is a pervasive system of social control and norms and values called "the patriarchy" that SYSTEMATICALLY oppresses PRIMARILY women, and then also variously intersectionally marginalized groups like "transwomen" and "gay black men" and ALSO MEN, cishet white men too

they believe THEY have identified ways in which men "suffer under patriarchy too", and that the project to end the patriarchy will "help men too". this is the whole initial premise of toxic masculinity. that the CONCEPTION of masculinity upheld and systematically promoted BY PATRIARCHY is HARMFUL TO MEN

there is no point in holding feminisms feet to the fire over making the claim it "helps men too" by bringing up NONFEMINISM IDENTIFIED WAYS in which MEN might claim they need "helped", because feminism operates on feminist premises, is based in feminism, cares about the feminist perspective and promotes feminist explanations and solutions. it doesnt care what nonfeminist men think would "help" men with problems nonfeminists identify as mens problems

Paranoia is unhealthy, and being Blue discourages it.
Men are not a hivemind; by rejecting an ideology that wants them to conform to a very specific archetype, they can build a life better suited to their own needs.
For feminism in particular: most men enjoy premarital sex with contraception; having extra money in their household because their partner earns too; having job opportunities beyond the stereotypically masculine occupations, etc. Furthermore, if we take what many red-leaning men on this sub have claimed to want in a partner at face value, the typical feminist nerd girl fits quite well.
Most men enjoy falling in love and eventually want families; rejecting an ideology that says to never marry or live with a woman is a step in the right direction.

Only way I can think of, is it made casual and premarital sex available.Even that of course came with a whole host of problems (marriage degradation,Pareto distribution to sex , sexlessness for much more men etc.)

In every other way it was bad for men and in most cases bad for families.

Also, I guess, ignorance is bliss.

The blue pill is a bit more honest in that instead of suggesting that you if you crack some elaborate code, you will have successful relationships, it acknowledges that relationships take work and there is no one fits all solution. It also says men don't have to try to change themselves into something some abstract woman wants.
Instead, why not focus on finding someone (or several someones if that's their thing) who can have compatible relationships with them as they are, or be find ways of being content without a romantic relationship if they don't want one.

As for feminism, it depends on the kind of feminism we're talking about, but in general the upside for men is if women have economic, political and social equality, that means men aren't responsible for them economically, politically or socially, and that frees up their time and energy for their own pursuits.

At the risk of sounding like 'that guy', some people are not comfortable formulating their own path.

We're not exactly incentivised to do so throughout our youth. Can you imagine telling your teacher 'I'll decide when I'm ready to do this homework'.

The blue pill is a prescription, it's just kind of there laid out for you. The red pill is a trek through brambles, and if you ask for help, or God help you if you expect someone to encourage you, you get shunted back 100ft.

It's very much an 'easy' (more like you pay less up-front) path to go through, and for the most part it's not that bad. There's no secret, if it truly was that bad it wouldn't be the dominant philosophy. It let's you give up control over life decisions, and go through the motions until you die, miserable or otherwise.

Feminism brought about the sexual revolution. It made it acceptable for women like me (high libido, kinky, sex-positive) to stop repressing our sexual desires and to have sex largely without repercussions (birth control). It also made it possible for women like me to support ourselves (and even thrive) financially and to live non-traditional lives (no marriage/kids).

Men who want a woman like me are rare and conversely, women who are like me are rare as well. But for a man who is specifically looking for a non-traditional LTR with a non-traditional woman like me? A woman who wants a man only for his sex, love, companionship, and emotional support — and seeks nothing else from him? Feminism at least makes an LTR like that feasible.

Modern feminism benefits attractive men who value work-life balance and either don’t want kids or have been there/done that (divorced with kids). It also benefits men who want to be a SAHD (if I wanted kids, I’d look for a guy like that).

Learning to address my internal biases and recognize sexist, disrespectful habits and behavior let me work on and trim lots of little things that were getting in the way of me actually having fluid interactions with women and the result has been that I actually like online dating and have had alot of success finding people I actually like who actually like me rather that the crapshoot of "She's cute and acting nice, maybe I'll take her out on a date and see if there's anything worth exploring between us"

The blue pill, or more specifically feminist activism, helps men by targeting what is seen as toxic masculinity. One of these effects (others have already been mentioned) is that if there's less toxic masculinity, women are going to feel less need to be cautious of men.

Currently, women need to be extremely cautious of men. They are usually physically stronger, and every experience with a creep leads them to be more likely to view awkward behaviour from guys as signs of danger. Which in turn leads to less men being pushed to inceldom and embracing toxic masculinity.

Because Blue Pill focuses on self-improvement too, while treating women as equals and focusing on establishing egalitarian relationships. Red Pill mostly focuses on generalizations and heuristics to try to get a man casual sex. Blue Pill suggestions to just “be yourself” are silly, of course. A better BP suggestion is to “improve in order to be the best version of yourself and don’t try to pretend to be someone else.”
