They're not that unattractive, except for the overweight people all being in the front center for some dumb reason. If you only watch TV every day, then yes you're going to think "oh they're so plain!" But living in an Amish community and fully acclimated to mostly non-makeup faces, I find them on the average attractive if you leave out the obesity. The makeup just makes people look like barbie doll porn stars anyways, which looks dumb.

I'm not buying this idea that Reddit meet-ups represent the attractiveness of the average Redditor. There are probably attractive people who lurk and/or post all the time, but are too busy hanging out with other attractive people to actually attend a Reddit meet-up.

Reddit meet-ups are only useful for the type of people who have to rely on Reddit to meet other people, a.k.a. mostly super unattractive people.
