Protip: never go for any first kiss with mouth open. Let your lips touch, don't be too forceful, if you kiss her softly, she'll actually come looking for more. You can always grab her hips or slide your hand up her side and pull her in a little bit. Once you start feeling comfortable with how she likes to kiss and you want tongue, start leading her into it by gently opening your mouth more and more. If your lips/her lips are getting all wet, it's sloppier than it should be - sloppiness is for special occasions. Once your mouths are both opening a little more, start with very gentle prods of the tongue, until she reciprocates. Establish a rhythm - don't just open your mouth at this point and have a tongue fight. The occasional pause to build tension is a plus. This has always worked for me, and I without fail, always get told by girls that I am an exceptional kisser. Practice makes perfect.

Since it was your first kiss I wouldn't worry about any kind of criticism. You'll get better without even realizing it. And there will always be moments where you and a girl won't make the same perfect move and it'll disrupt the flow. When this happens just stop for a brief moment. She'll open her eyes and look at you. Stare back in her eyes for just a second and then kiss her again. This removes the awkwardness and if anything creates a 'moment'. Advice: If this is truly your first kiss, get off of seddit and live a real life where interacting with women is not a game. Find out who you are, who you are with them without this gaming mentality, and then come back if who you are naturally doesn't conflict with your goals.
