In the process of flirting, how do I avoid dropping into asking questions?

I think many of you are misunderstanding what flirting IS. Flirting is not a script, or a tone of voice, or joking or talking about sex. Its a style of communication, that can be applied to ANYTHING. How I flirt with 1 woman is entirely different with a different woman. I flirted with 1 woman cuz she made a crack about sex & I told her I'm hit it so hard that she'd fall into a sex coma,would lose her sense of reality. She came on strong & her flirtations were more like challenges so I responded in that same way. With a different women, who's not that free sexually or that sure of herself its something different. I've dated or slept with dozens of women & not 1 of them has been the same as the next one.

Asking questions is GOOD, how else will you know about her, what she likes, doesn't like, what her past has been like, what sort of family she has, past relationships? Getting data like that helps you choose how to approach this new relationship.

There is NEVER going to be a perfect method. Every person is different & while there are certainly themes in human life, those are mostly some do's & don't's. You can't ask other men how they interact with women & then go apply that same idea or action. You can learn some basics about human psychology but I say this here all the time & men get upset, pay attention to what women are saying & less attention to what men are saying. Men who have good social lives are less likely to be on Reddit talking about how to seduce women.

I'm here cuz I'm almost 50, I am deliberately single & not interested in changing that, & someone invited me to this group & I get an email once per day, I look at that post & comment & walk away. I don't debate or argue, you can take it or leave it.

Questions can be fine if they don't become an interview (or interrogation). Ask flirty, fun questions that pull people into wanting to interact with you.

Get them talking about topics they enjoy. So when you hear something they mention or notice with how they dress or act, discuss this topic. Use open ended questions so they do the talking. "Tell me more about that." "What was that like?" "How did you figure that out?'
Understand what made you want to speak to this person in the first place. This is your guide! Maybe you though they had the potential to be fun or interesting. Mention aspects you noticed about them that caught your eye (demonstrate that you are observant and smart) and then use this to roll into a discussion. Find out if they are as cool as you hoped.
Make a cold reading guess about the person. "You appear like the quiet type but deeper down I bet you are rather adventurous. How accurate is that?"
Make statements about things you like or notice and guide the conversation towards something else. Start new conversational threads. "This venue is nice. It's my first time coming here and I love the vibe. It's different from other places I've been around town. Do you all hang here a lot?"

Just use the eye brow trick and talk about whatever you want. If she's interested she'll entertain whatever nonsense you talk about. Just make sure you're aware of what she responds to. You can adjust as you talk.

Make assumptions, it is same as asking the questions but more fun, because sometimes you guess right and sometimes completely wrong, women like it in my experience. Also, you completely loose the interrogation vibe by assuming instead of asking. Every assumption shows your observation skills and creativity at the same time.

Be comfortable with silence. Guys typically ask a lot of questions when we're nervous or the girl is not showing signs of interest and not contributing to the discussion. Let silence sometimes float for a while to see if she will ask a question or contribute to the discussion. If she doesn't, then you know where you stand. She's not that interested in you. So take that and move on.

Just make assumptions about her, make observations, say statements, make absurd accusations, tease her, share funny anecdotes or opinions, make suggestions to her, flirt with her, describe how you are feeling when talking to her, describe how she reacts to your flirtation and jokes… etc

the whole 'don't ask her questions' was one of the most stupid things to come out of PUA and honestly does more harm that good and is responsible for lots of odd behaviour you see from PUA's

Besides, JulienRSD literally proved it was nonsense. You don't need to keep making stupid cold reads and stuff for example.

Just chat to her. If she wasn't interested in you, there's about a 0.5% chance if was because you were asking her 'interview questions' and a 99.5% chance you just weren't her type

In terms of actually flirting, it's just about breaking rapport and touch. But you can't flirt or game your way too attraction! don't forget that bit. Important

There’s nothing wrong with answering questions, it’s a good thing to do in fact cuz then you can qualify based on the answers, but you want to ask interesting questions about who she is as a person, not job interview style questions

I believe it is about being congruent, why would you ask random questions that have nothing to do with anything and you are not even genuinely interested in the answer. Besides talking, you can make a pause sometimes, look her into the eyes, focus more on your body language, get into some activity.

It comes from trying to filter yourself because you’re nervous around her.

You don’t drop into asking questions around your best friend or your parents or siblings. Because you don’t care what they think of you.

You ideally should act the same way around the girl.
