I went on a first date with a coworker to see Inception in theaters. I had already heard about the spinning top at the end, and made it a point to discuss it with her after watching the film. She was rather intelligent, and I didn't think there was any chance of getting with her that night. Then I said something like this:

This certainly wasn't "amazing" or really that unexpected, but I felt good of how smooth it went.

2 weekends ago I was at a party. I had met these two girls the night before, my buddy knew them and was trying to get with the one and needed a wing for her hot friend.

I didn't remember either of their names because I was pretty drunk both nights. The girl my buddy was going for told me her name because I told her I forgot. I whispered for her to tell me her friend's name.

The hot friend I was winging for asked if I remembered her name since I had forgotten the friend's.

I was at a dance and while I'm normally quite an introverted guy, I decided in advance that I was going to cut loose. I said "Fuck it" in almost every regard, dancing and enjoying myself. Surprisingly, she doesn't roll her eyes, she gives me a look of disbelief, not expecting me to say something like that. So I finish my water and I'm about ready to hit the dancefloor again, and I look to her and say the following; "Do you want to- Ok. Scratch that. I know you /want/ to dance with me. The real question is when?" And without another word I leave because again, I figured having just said the douchiest thing to come to mind wouldn't win me any favours. A little later I get tapped on the shoulder and sure enough, there she is. We dance for a bit and before long we're slow dancing. I get up the nerve to say something mushy that I don't even remember and she gives me a kiss on the cheek before she was going to depart. It wasn't anything so fantastic, but it was extremely out of the ordinary for me and not at all what I had been expecting.

I was sitting at Starbucks reading a newspaper when a barista was cleaning the floor around me. We had been making small talk and got to a point where I said a sarcastic joke about women cleaning. Note that I made it VERY clear that I was sarcastic as I do not promote chauvinism and you should not say such a joke if you are incapable of delivering it correctly. If you misfire or choose a bad situation to do this, you WILL look like an asshole. Anywho, she shoots back at me with a sarcastic feminist joke so it was cool that she was game. Taking it to the next level, I threw my newspaper on the floor and told her to be a like a good housewife and pick it up for me. Again, I did all this with the sarcasm meter going through the roof in both the way I said it as well as with my body language. And she actually did it! When she handed it to me I said that I would like for her to bring me my paper again in the future and we exchanged numbers. To this day I still cannot believe that I did that.

I used to frequent a forum about a comedy show. I used to be quite cocky there -alpha mode in a fun way-.

I was twelve and had just moved to Florida from Ohio after my parents divorce. Started seventh grade and met several nice people that im still friends with, especially Zachary. Now, Zack is the typical 13 year old, bikes skates and plays video games, but plays guitar and is really good at it. I begin to like him and the more I talk to him the more I really like him. So we begin hanging out a lot, and as time passes we both have relationships, some lasting longer than others. He was one of those guys where I knew there would never be a more than friends thing, so I take my emotions and tuck them to a corner in my heart, but I never stopped liking him, infact I began falling for him. About a year and a half ago I stopped all contact with him because at this point I loved him and I was in a relationship and thought it wrong to hangout with a friend I loved but date someone and still talk/see him. I dated this other person for 10 months, when I decided I was going to break up with him he gave me a pure bred lab, so I had to wait. I began talking to Zack when this happened and soon enough I was seeing/talking to him more than the boyfriend. When I finally broke up with the other guy I went to Zacks to hangout on a friday, we had been talking about "fighting" eachother very playfully so I said, "come at me bro!" And he did. He kissed me. His parents had left for the weekend to daytona which was a several hours drive from us. I came over Friday after school and didnt go home till Monday evening. We have now been dating for almost six months and he has told me so many things, he started liking me the same time I started liking him, he has lovdd me for three years and knew why I wasnt speaking or seeing him so he respected my unspoken request and never contacted me... I am 18, he is 19, I love him more than anything/anyone else and we plan on moving in together soon, he talks about marrying me and growing old with me.
