That sub Reddit is fucking awful. I’ve been accused of being the one in the wrong. I never received actual help just that I was the bad one. So much awful things are said in that sub and it’s like every doesn’t fucking care about keeping a family. It’s always “I just don’t feel the spark” or “I can do better” . This shit is fucking backward. It engrains in me why marriage in the west is a bad idea. Stick to this place for divorce help .

Yeah that sub sucks but it is a pretty fun place to help less knowledgeable folks to learn about…male perspectives on divorce. I genuinely enjoy needling those folks to illustrate whatever angle I happen to be working at the moment.

I read that sub a lot. I can't believe the number of women with really small children that are filing for divorce becuase "they aren't in love". The classic I love you but I'm not in love with you line. I'm not talking about husbands that are cheaters or alcoholics. Just normal guys that are totally blindsided and have no idea they are about to lose almost everything to finance this woman going on dating apps. It's really shocking how many of these I've seen in just the past week or two.

I saw the post. Woman moved out, left all household stuff behind because she didn't have room in her new apartment. She took herself off the deed of the house. Ex husband sold the house, moved out of the country, and got rid of all the household things like the toaster, dishes etc. Your comment was calling her a gold digger. To be frank, I don't see anything that would warrant implying she is a gold digger and even now referring to her as a bimbo.

Sure it was shitty to say he misses material things over his ex. But you tell me how many men won't say the same thing about their ex. I sure as hell miss rhe condo and the stuff i had to sell, and my ex sucks too. That doesn't make me a gold digger.

My brother, I am no troll at all! I’ve been divorced after 26 years, put in a lot of work with psychiatry, books, podcasts, and just researching relationships as a whole, I’m even starting my own YouTube channel about relationships. And I’ve got the ban hammer more times than I can mention, lol some of it I can actually understand though, but a lot of it was very passé the vanilla stuff, and I still got banned! When someone comes on, and asks for advice, and you read thoroughly through their post, and then tell them that divorce is probably the best option, why would you get banned? That happened to me, this person asked for advice on an open forum, and that’s exactly what they got, However this particular sub Reddit I don’t think I’ve had any trouble with really. Now betrayed spouse Reddit? I’ve been banned out of there like two or three times, lol

I honestly don’t believe marriage aren’t going to get any better for humans unless they talk about their differences, women and men run a different operating systems, but when you try to point those out, intellectually you end up getting the ban hammer or yelled at, but it’s fine to say that men have no emotions, no feelings, no rights to their own children And even though you’ve provided and probably been the breadwinner of the home, you get less respect on the family dog, and then we’re supposed to sit here with a smile on our face, and do more! I’m not saying all guys are great, I’ve known some real garbage human beings in my life, especially men! The majority of us guys are not trash. all we’re asking is to be considered just as much as a woman is in a relationship, the foundation of men and women both need the same things anyway, but Miller denied that all the time. We need to be able to talk about these differences so we can understand each other and walk in each others shoes that’s the only way relationships start to stay together longer. I’m honestly not sure will ever get there.

The dude was bummed the single mom he was hitting up kept standing him up and giving him excuses.

I commented saying “I’ll prob get down voted into oblivion, but there’s entire books written about why you shouldn’t date a single mom. You’ll never be her priority”

I mean, that post was going to get you banned. It would get you banned in most subs.

I’ve taken a different tact in that sub for a very good reason. That’s the easiest to find divorce sub on Reddit, and most men having marital issues find it first. Their posts get downvotes, they are ignored, or they get given advice like “just clean more and be nicer to your wife”. Or they get told “if a woman filed a restraining order, it’s because you’ve given her a reason to”. I try to be the counterpoint to all that rhetoric. You just have to be careful to stay in the rules, and several of the mods (all men, btw) have expressed to me how frustrating it is that I follow the rules and don’t give them a reason to ban me.
