Picture it: you're arguing online again. Your logic is unassailable, you brought graphs, data, sworn testimonials given under penalty of perjury, but all of a sudden something doesn't feel right. Your debate partner smirks, slides her glasses up her nose, and says those 6 words. It's over, everything's lost.

The problem with this argument that has been used to the degree that it's a meme and and acronym is multi faceted and let me explain why:

Why is it always "Rheinwg you're a disgusting pathetic loser who will die alone" and never "when introducing yourself to women you might want to stop telling them what adult film actress they look like because I feel like many women might not appreciate that". Any positive trait you may have doesn't guarantee success with women because some women are into fat ugly losers, but if you have a negative trait like being a fat ugly loser, then no women will be attracted to you. Where did the women who were attracted to fat ugly losers go between the beginning and end of that sentence?

Innuendo studios talks about it in a video on right authoritarian vs right libertarian with the point being "why are they always arguing with me and not with each other"? This post was ideated from an earlier post on men doing all the work during sex, a couple women responded "well women have to do the work of putting on makeup and clothes so it's even". Every man here, every man in existence, has been told repeatedly that women dress up for themselves. All Men know this is a lie but even in the post some women said they do it for themselves, some say they do it for men, but they were mostly arguing with men rather than each other. You also see this on the very common "men you should start/stop approaching women in public" posts, where Stacy says that she would be comfortable/uncomfortable if a man approached her in a public, Becky will disagree but this is normally responding to men that are agreeing/disagreeing with Stacy and not directly debating with Stacy herself. If the Council of Women could get together and definitively hash out what All Women Are Like, then we'd know what they're Not Like.

It nullifies your own arguments. If you respond NAWALT to my claim that "women be shopping", by claiming that you're not CEO of Women aren't you removing your ability to make any affirmative claim? When some guy says "I'm out, I quit trying to date, I give up" a woman will without fail respond "good, all women everywhere are better off now", but the only thing they can actually confidently say is "I personally don't regret you leaving the dating pool".

Finally it misses the point. Smoking raises the chance of you getting lung cancer to 10-20% but no one says Not All Cigarettes Are Like That even though it's more applicable that most claims here. You can't actually even make the claim that "women breathe" because there's plenty of women on respirators right now. When I say that women be shopping, I'm not saying that all women everywhere are always shopping, I'm saying that women have a tendency to, a preference, they have a history of repeatedly shopping. I'm saying that it would be a reasonable to expect that at some point a woman will buy something.

In conclusion, if elected president, I pledge that my first official act will be to kick and ban any user that uses NAWALT but then does not use "some women" in affirmative claims. Good night, good luck, and God bless America šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡²šŸ¦
